Purchased 1992 LS400 in March of 1992. Over 653,475 miles and still driving it. Always serviced at the Lexus dealerships. While visiting my daughter in Virginia Beach I took it in for service. The service manager told me not to expect that milage in the new Lexus.

These cars are bulletproof, but there’s also a reason they’ve lasted so long… it’s because their owners have left them stock and taken proper care of them all these years. Burnouts are awesome to see, but new-owner abuse by kids in their 20s is the single biggest killer of these LS400s. In five years, I promise you there will be barely any left aside from low-mileage garage queens that trade hands on Bring A Trailer. Take good care of this one and make it a million-mile car.
My genuine dream car, sadly the rate this beast drinks fuel combined with gas prices here in the UK means I've gotta wait til money ain't no matter to me before I can afford this beauty.
No the real question is why we getting graped at the pump? 3 years ago gas was under 2$ a lot of the time or right around too. Now it 350-389 all the time. that’s ridiculous. 10$ get u 5 gallons or more (obviously 🙄) now it 20 for 6.2 gallon.

Just bought a 2011 Highlander with 85k on the dash. I burned rubber off the lot when I test drove it and ended up buying because the shit is a race truck. Lexus/Toyota make good vehicles.
How do they do burnout on their LS400? I've tried it on mine and it never works:// (I've had automatic RWD cars before and they always made me burnout very quickly and easily) I always put the pwr mode on and deactivate the traction control and put it in first gear (L) and the only thing it does when I accelerate it is that it raises the revs to 2.5k and it does nothing else ://
I tried it with traction off but it doesn't work why ? And I think the traction doesn't turn off entirely and I don't know where the fuze is I looked for it and saw nothing that says traction in both fuze boxes
