Alex is my favorite character and he is that for a reason. in spite of the entire world giving him reasons to hate, he still chooses to see the best in people. that is so brave I cannot even put it into words. and you made me feel all the things Alex feels with this edit. how he might be a war hero, but his true strength is that he dares to be himself.
