I got this car in November, first car, have never road-tripped alone before, but drove 11 hours without needing to even sleep because of good timing but ALSO because the car is SOOO comfortable to drive. I also had to drive in the snow in the mountains at night after getting to my destination… and wow. Scary but felt super safe the whole time as I could tell the car was taking care of me as a new driver. The adaptive cruise control is AMAZING and makes long trips nice. I’ll never get a speeding ticket lol. The audio system is so nice and the noise canceling/reducing window design REALLY makes a difference… it even makes inside of the car quieter. If you have a loud family i’m sure you could turn the music up a bit and find some peace. The camera system is also greatttt and has made learning to use my mirrors easier. Honestly it’s just an easy car to drive. The safety features make it damn near impossible for you to cause an accident because even if the back corner of your car might touch something there are 360 cameras that show at the same time as the rear camera. Anyways I know people have qualms about the car but it’s sooooo nice to me and even the exterior looks classier
I drove for 12 hrs straight with minimal breaks. Highlanders a re very comfortable and I never feel worn out even after long drives. This is amazing as I am 6'-2" tall and 260 lbs!
