    Hello, welcome to Singapore!
Most of those you've mentioned are the pricier stores!
My tips, in addition to all the rest here -
If you have time, go to the bigger neighbourhoods n walk around the central area to familiarize yourself with the common stores the locals go to, you'll soon realise that you'll keep seeing the same stores over n over again, you can start with (MRT station names) Clementi, Jurong East, Boon Lay, Commonwealth, Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Tampines, Bedok, Yishun, Woodlands...
Some other department stores to check out :
    Metro
    BHG
    OG
Mega Discount Store (subsidiary of COURTS)
    Gain City
Also download the apps like Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10, ASOS, Zalora, Eatigo, Ezbuy, iHerb...
Events : Apps like Peatix & Eventbrite.
    Follow TheSmartLocal!
Talk to more locals, your colleagues or neighbours...
We're all the same, we love good bargains & we love to share!
Hope you guys are settling in well!
Have fun exploring Singapore! There's lots to do!

You can also use Amazon, there's a local version of it at Amazon.sg. Prime membership is way cheaper than the States, at only S$2.99 a month. You get next day local delivery and 2-hour Fresh/Prime Now delivery, with prices that tend to compete with FairPrice (including their offers). Another perk is that you get free international shipping above S$60 from Amazon US (however these are limited to items that are listed on the Amazon.sg website and not on Amazon.com) and at US-equivalent prices! I regularly order stuff that I cannot get easily in Singapore, or stuff that are way too overpriced here but much cheaper in the US.

Tip : Locate a Town Centre (center) where you have road names with the word Central included. Town Centres have a Bus Terminus, an MRT Station, a Hawker Centre, shops radiating around the centres dealing in food, bakery, household items, GP clinics, a pharmacy, clothing, hardware, wellness, coffeeshops, tuition centres, fruits, a wet market (maybe), cellphones, grocery stores, barbers and hair saloon. Included could be a Town Council office, and Post Office. The larger TC have a mall where you can find banks, sports goods, telcos, electronic goods, Gyms and fitness equipment, a Food Court, cycling, baby prams, skate boards, music studios and maybe a roof top garden or children play area.

your video is very detail and spot on. U nailed it. For electronic store top 2 harvey norman is number one followed by best denki in singapore from my experience in terms of before and after purchase service quality including delivery.
I love fair price and tangs for shopping and i do get decathlon and outdoor life for my sports items and backpacks respectively. I do go to challenger for computer or phone supporting hardware.
You nailed it every point. Look forward to your next video.

Baking ingredients and baking supplies you can look up RedMan Shop by Phoon Huat Pte. Ltd. You mentioned you live in Clementi area so the nearest branch would be at The Star Vista nearest train stop is Buona Vista station.
As a regular of Sim Lim Square, I would say here are the good and reputable shops to go to for buying your PC stuffs.
PC Themes on the 4th floor,
Video Pro on the 5th floor (Now called City Zone Pte Ltd),
DynaCore Tech Pte Ltd on the 5th floor
Best Bargins on the 5th floor
Tradepac Distribution Pte Ltd 5th floor, its right behind Video Pro store
Tec-drome Pte Ltd on the 5th floor for your PC softwares and PC gaming gear
things to note about PC parts prices in Singapore are generally more expensive than in the States due to import fees and taxes and dealer markup. This are generally are the more expensive items like the CPU, Motherboard, NVMe SSD and GPUs which may cost up to 2 if not 3 times the prices when compared to US pricings.
But if you buy the high price items as a bundle or as a whole PC desktop. You could get some discounts if you politely ask the store keeper or if the store owner is around. Avoid paying your IT purchases with Credit cards. Ask for the cash prices and see what is the lowest prices they could offer you.
Hardwarezone and also some of the Sim Lim Stores now have a Facebook presence and they do publish the price list online as a PDF so that you can get all the prices of different PC parts and other stuffs that you might need.
Some of the shops from Sim Lim also provide free delivery of PC parts that you order from Lazada and Shopee so you can save the hassle of going to SIm Lim altogether and lesser risk of contracting Covid-19.

    Local tips: value dollar shop,daiso.
You need to go to neighbourhood hardware五金 store. But it is not as stocked as the us. An easy search would be entering "x central" . X being the neighbourhood name. So if u live in hougang, try searching hougang central if u live in jurong search jurong central.

for electronics: dude's right! you might hear that sim lim square is the cheapest place to visit but skip that too! even locals avoid that shit hole. unless you ABSOLUTELY know what you're getting, like you work in tech or whatever, they WILL scam you.

I'm unaware of any website that lists jobs just for expats in Singapore. Most of the expats I know were hired directly by the companies they work for. I would look at job posts on LinkedIn and add Singapore to your search. Good luck!
