I own this car for over 2 years now and I have to say that Recaro seats are just awful. They are good if you track the car or dont spend longer then hour or 2 in them but other then that they are horribly uncomfortable and im not as big guy ( 5.11 180 lbs ). They look great though.

My Ford dealer in Melbourne Australia sourced the Recaros and installed all the extras as well as magna ride suspension package....had to get the GPS tracker too.....soon will be fitting the blower kit from Herrod Performance....that should boost the horse power!!

The 2018 is unbelievable jaw dropping however I still prefer the 2005 - 2014 body styles. For example I love the round headlights included in those year models. I don't like the slanted headlights indicative of the newer models today.

I liked the Camaro body the 1st year it was introduced. The visibility is dangerous! The dash on the Camaro is cheap looking and so is the Vettes. Spend large amount of cash on a Vette or Camaro and you get an ugly dash which you have to look at all the time you're in it.

Part of me feels like I'll miss the torque of the twin screw and my factory red leather interior (unlike the current premium red the 2010 also has a red leather steering wheel) but I can't pass up the current Bullitt.
Did you get used to the super touchy brakes? Also do they ever get less touchy because they were annoyingly touchy when I drove one. Frankly its the main reason I dont have one of these babies parked in my garage.
Roman 81only bad thing about the bullitt is that it’s going to cost as much as a Shelby. Went to a show a few weeks ago and there was a bullitt there so I asked how much it would cost and I was told around $70k without markups.
Roman 81 they said it’ll be that way with all limited edition cars like this one. Seeing it in person really makes me want one though. Not only is the car amazing but the color is just phenomenal.
Austin Kirkland their getting out of hand with these cars as far was price...lol. If it’s going to cost that much then I’ll just get a Shelby gt350 for 60-65k. Or a used one with 4,000 miles on it for 55k. It’s still a GT platform. Just with a few add on to give it 15 hp and looks. It is a nice car but won’t pay that.
Roman 81 yeah I’d get a 350 before the bullitt any day. Even though the bullitt does look great with that color I think the gt350/gt350r is the best looking S550 out there.
Its tricky as any car is a liability but if youve paid off your mortgage etc you may just want some fun with the rest and what better way than a head turning car that puts a smile on your face
The Engine sounds good but did you know Ford is using a Plasma transferred wire arc process on the cylinder walls that is only .005 thick? Do you have any idea on the durability of the cylinder bores before the block is scrap? From what I understand it saves just under 10lb of weight in the block, I just wonder at what cost to the consumer. So any thoughts on this NEO?

1234zcrom I came from a 2017 base gt then a 2017 pp gt to 2018 6m and you are correct clutch and shifting nite and day betterI I think smooth as silk.

Your first mod should be to install heat forged steel shift forks. The Factory ones are cheap aluminum alloy they have a recall already.

I don't think it has adjustable bolsters, and the Performance Package wheels are only available in black for 2018. Thanks for the comment.

I did get used to the brakes. As a matter of fact, I now have trouble with normal brakes because I’m used to the excellent braking of the Brembos.

No, that is a separate option.
To learn to use this magnific car , you must go to Mustang school to learn all the finess of this super car .
Too bad Ford doesn't offer heated/ cooled seats with the Recaro seats!
