It works. But your best bet is bring a throw away tanky tame, like a Rex. This guys didn't fight any Dimorphs, and there are usually a few with the Pteras at the beginning. If you fight a few high level Dimorphs at the beginning, you're probably going to die. I wouldn't chance it. Once you clear them, you're free to attack the Dragon once it lands. This guys moves excellently in the video, and his Dienos are obviously very high level. His armor is probably very high level too with great dura. Just keep that in mind

Bleed damage caps at 600 so any more than that really isn't needed

cause they dont have mutations yet. But if u have hatched 100eggs without any mutations, u're pretty unlucky. Cause the chance is 7% for 1 mutaion.
