The spat between statehouse and Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo has brought into sharp focus the political undercurrents and the powers behind the scene in the Kibaki Succession. Mutahi maybe right. After all Kibaki no longer seeks to please the West and you can see these everywhere you look in Kenya from the infrastructure the Chinese are building allover from Road Highways to Stadium renovations.
Either way the West has to be praised for ending the near civil war in 2007-2008. However they see Raila as the man to control the same way they control Museveni in Uganda.
Don't underestimate the West, they get what they want in the end.
