- Hello everyone, in this video I’m going to service my 2015 Peugeot Boxer 2.2HDI inc an Oil Change, with Fuel, Oil and Air filter replacement

Great video. Thanks. Also the middle drain hole on scuttle if blocked will drip onto injectors and cause them to rust in place.

Good clear video. The screws on the air filter lid are notorious for rusting up and being impossible to remove. Worth replacing with ss ones. I’ve had to replace the whole housing on one van.
I managed to get mine out ( just 😀) and replaced them with SS pan head self drilling screws M4.2 x 32mm

I had Peugeot boxer 2017 and when i press gas pedal more it sounds like Jurassic Park's dinosaurs. What should be the problem?
I visited 2,3 garages they can't understand. I advised me to purchase new van lol.

Thankfully filter easy to access on these... May i ask yourself or any viewers: usually how much coolant would you say you add each year(if any) in cm. I understand its not a closed system so there will be some loss. Last two of these Ive had it was about 1cm top up on the header tank every year (about 10k miles). Would be interested in othersfindings. Many thanks for video

Id advise to fill the new filter up with diesel aswell so it stsrtd first time and also helps eliminate air in the system

To change oil filter cut 1litre plastic bottle put in filter twist out and all oil stays in bottle

Great video. I've done oil and filter on mine, but one air filter screw wouldn't budge, and mine is 2014, which looks slightly different to your 2015.
I used my plastic ramps, but I didn't actually go under the van. I could just reach the sump plug and filter.
Fantastic vlog 👏 I notice you have a lacquer on the engine and components, did you do this yourself? And do you sometimes get rain water entering the engine bay under the poorly fitted / designed windscreen scuttle? 😏👍
Hi, thanks for your comment, every now and again, I'ii wipe my engines over with an oily rag whilst Im inspecting them, hence the shine during the video. I did suffer from water ingress, so i used clear silicon sealant to stop it.
Well Explained great video...one thing when you changed the diesel filter can we fill'up diesel in it to start engine quickly otherwise may be it take times to start
Yes, correct, fill the canister to remove as much air from the system and it’ll make it easier to start.

You use the dipstick, and refill gradually so as not to overfill the engine

Amazing vedio. Can I please ask you the drain sump plug how did you reseal it?. Usually they try to sell a new one but if it be resealed and sturdy. That's what to go?. Please share
Hi. I just reused the existing plug the over the previous three services, saved the money, and I have not experienced any leakage.

Yes I did, I filled it with fuel before reconnected the filter housing
Hi Andy - nice vid. The top grey clip is broken on my fuel filter. Know where I can buy just the housing lid? The whole filter housing is about 80 quid, which seems steep.
I agree, £80 is steep, so I think your best bet would be a breakers yard

How did you reset the service interval indicator when you had finished servicing - very informative video thanks for sharing
Hi This is how i reset my service light
1. Turn the ignition key to the MAR position
You must place the ignition in the ON or MAR position to perform this operation.
2. Fully depress the GAS and the BRAKE PEDALS
After that, all you have to do is press and hold down the accelerator and brake pedals for more than 15 seconds
3. Turn off the ignition
Switch the ignition off and release the pedals, and now this should have reset
Thank you for information - Just back from a trip to Wiltshire, on the way home the motorhome broke down and we had a lift home by the RAC 😆, so van in the garage now being repaired so they might as well do the service this time around!!! So much fun this motorhoming lark 😁
where did you find the reference that this oil is for this engine? I've looked around and no one seems to refer to a 5w40
I went to my local Peugeot garage and used the oil they recommended

Hi, is your fuel filter still working ok? I read lost of leaking problems with these filters after assembling them without the proper torquing tools 30 NM....
Yep, no problems if you torque it to the right setting.

I noticed you used 5w40oil not 5w30 as recommended, does it make any difference . Cheers.
Nope, I t was the one recommended for my engine (serial number) and I've had no problems at all.

It can be checked and changed, but sadly, I don't know how to do this

Yep, your correct, we didn't change it this time as we have previously changed it while we were traveling in morocco . . . too much dust!
Is the diesel fuel filter/housing self priming? Thanks.
I wasn't sure, so I primed mine.
Yes it is - just turn key to 'ignition on' (don't start the engine) 5 to 10 times - you will hear the fuel lift pump running each time. This will fill the filter casing and purge the air from the system. Then the engine will start first time.

I’ve booked a service for my 2019 Citroen, relay at ATS garage. They tell me the fuel filter change will not be part of the full service. Can this be correct?
It depends on the garage

I did change my gearbox oil, but sadly didn't video it, as there is not much to see.
Anyone know how to reset the yellow wrench service light ? Mine is 2019 I think.
Hi. This is how i reset my service light, but i thank there are different ways depending on your vehicle:
Switch the ignition OFF.
Depress and hold the trip meter (mileage/km reset) button on the dash.
Turn to ON the ignition, do not start the car.
Keep the trip meter button pressed down for 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds the display will read “= O″.
Release the odometer button.
Switch OFF the ignition and then ON to check if it was reset.
@@HelenAndyTravel I don’t have those buttons. I have a mode which allows me to enter a few menus.1 is service and oil. I followed some other instructions but didn’t work.
@@dirkschelfhout6460 brake and gas pedals both down, ignition switched on and held pedals down for 20 seconds.
Pair of gloves would be good.
Serviced cars, vans and bikes for over 40 years, never had or felt the need to wear gloves, its just a modern trend by those that don't like manly and dirty hands 😂

Your right to do your own work..but 55 quid an hour is cheap..
