Thank god for the Pimp . He has made redoing these machines so much easier. His stencils are great . They never fit perfect but usually require very minimal messing around. Always have gotten a great product in the end ! What a difference from the do it yourself self someone had done previously. I try not to knock on people for making things nicer . But your quality level is just a much higher standard!
Yeah Jeff’s the best. There is always going to be variations in cabinets, the type of paint we use etc but it is a consistent product that always give you what you need to do a good job. I am the same and hate to crush anyone’s attempt to improve something. The bad thing sometimes is just that the attempt is so poorly executed for whatever reason that it becomes a further downgrade.
Yes. I do that when needed. This doesn’t have that but if you look at the Spirit series I cover the speckling there. Webbing is a different process of course but I would definitely do that when called for.
Do you keep your painting area air conditioned so it doesn’t flash off too quickly on you ? I’ve heard some guys use a chiller system for this . I’ve had issues in the past where the paint just goes off way too fast , mostly because I don’t have a paint booth where I can control the temperature. Someday I’d really like too !
What's the TIMING for removing the stencils? Is it right away? Do you let the paint dry just a LITTLE, or is it until paint is completely dry? (I can't imagine it's the last one...)

Do you ever do the webbing to match the original? I get that it exists to hide flaws and this is flawless...

I mostly use it to keep the humidity in check. When that gets too high it slows the process down and if extreme can cloud finishes.

For the type of paint I use (automotive base coat) mostly dry to completely dry which takes place in minutes.
