The one where evading through shadow imbued enemy gives you stealth and also the one when you deal damage with an agility skill to a dazed enemy makes you stealth. Running shadow/cold imbues, smoke grenade and shadow step w/ two charges. Hi, i like your vids very informative. I was just curious have you ever tested canny over infusion? the non physical damage vs imbued skill damage has me a little unsure as to what would be getting a damage boost. also the bonus multiplier on canny seems interesting.
It uses Cold Imbuement which doubles your damage (including crit) to Frozen enemies. My Rapid Fire doesn’t ricochet arrows, it actually penetrates the mob by one shotting them. Also, there’s not much survivability from Max roll’s. Using stealth makes a lot more sense when you are not using Poison imbued skills.
Hey man I am using this build but was using the dash build with the aspect that drops the smoke grenades. Do you recommend precision over close quarters? And do you need to add to smoke grenade as well??
you should do a deep dive into pvp... all the dmg modifier are all over the place. Its also right now all legends on what works and what doesnt... right now we only know that Core, crit, Cutthroat seem to be the only dmg modifier. would love to see your take on rapid fire pvp
Hi, sorry for asking something offtopic but I''m trying to figure out how certain effects buff certain aspect's damage. On Necro I use Blood wave, which is one of the ultimate abilities and it's classified as Blood. I use the Aspect of Ultimate Shadow that turns it into a Darkness skill that does Shadow damage, it desecrates the ground it passes and leaves a pool that does an X amount of damage for 4 seconds. Do you know if I were to spec into Coalesced Blood, which adds 18%[x] damage while healthy to my Blood skills, if that would increase the X ground damage that the aspect adds? Ultimate Skill damage didn't seem to add damage to the aspect's X damage, only to the direct damage the Blood Wave did. Sorry it's kind of specific but it's really hard to test and I was hoping you knew the answer, I think Rogues might have similar effects
Really great one man ! Don’t you think you could use Temerity ? With Concealment regen ? You can proc Temerity Barrier’s everytime you’re stealth I might test it ! Thanks for the vid ! You just got a new sub ! 👌🏻👌🏻
Could try it out with the temerity buffs. I still think some gg 4 DR pants would be better, but those can be tough to come by and temerity prob isn't bad if you can keep the barrier high.
@@Xarrio i tried an hour ago , it works ! Playing with my barbarian friend and when he uses his shouts , i get some heal and the temerity procs. I can use the potion to proc it too and the Concealment works too. It’s pretty good to be honest ! Thanks for the answer man !
Hey look I am doing the same without a generator and with rain of arrows instead. It is a lot of fun to stealth rain of arrow stealth crit in face with ice then place trap underneath. I can cc someone for ages this way lol and 95% of the time all the trash dies to the ult so I only have to worry about the elite.
Hello, Xarrio: every time I watch the videos you share, I’ll look the button mapping of your controller ; is there any chance you can share how do you decide which skill as which button? Thank you!
It's mainly just muscle memory. I just put my CC break on Y, A is my basic, X is my core, B/right trigger/right bumper are utility, left trigger is evade, left bumper is health pot. The biggest change is putting evade on left trigger. That way you can very quickly evade after rapid firing much easier.
@@Xarrio Thank you for your reply! It does take some time to build muscle memory. What do you think about using RSB (Right Stick Button) or LSB (Left Stick Button)? I've used LSB for evade and I find it fairly intuitive, but my thumb gets sore pretty quickly XD
Yes, and yes that was what I was using pre-patch before the barber. It definitely works well and gives a lot of survival, but then you lose a lot of clear speed. I wanted to create a build that has more AOE dmg w/ rapid fire this season, and thus need the barber. But yes, a non-barber build w/ umbrous will be much more tanky, probably better for pushing T100 tbh since if all you care about is clearing it, speed doesn't matter.
I'm not playing season 1, but I've been thinking about using Mending Obscurity since Siphoning Strikes was nerfed. Also, I play on ps4, which creates difficulties when using Shadow Step. I'll probably use a variation on this build, and take Manglers + Trick Shot instead of the hearts.
I've never been a huge fan of dash for high NM dungeons. It works great for speed runs/leveling though where the mobs don't pose much of a threat. In high NM dungeons, I find it typically just puts me into a bad position and gets me killed too often. I try to create builds that work for almost all content.
@xarrio, with the fix to barber, are there still lucky hits that don’t work with barber? I tried umbrous and it worked and also noticed vulnerable procs more often, is there an update to this build?
Pretty much everything works now. I've heard there might be a skill here or there in other classes that might not. But everything that I know of for rogue does work.
I just showed the end game paragon board this time around. It is the same as the previous video. But after experimenting and using them a bit more, I think the end game board is fine for leveling up too, so I just used it to prevent complications and having to show 2 boards that are very similar anyways.
Do Penitent Graves boots work well instead of Shared misery? I'm farming gear for this build since level 60 and now i'm 78 and no usable gloves and rings(one in still normal legendary 613 IP sadly with bad rolls) and found just 1 barber and still hesitant in using it on such a crappy gear. RNG is hating me, but looking forward to try this build cause at least it seems lot of fun. Great job and breakdown!
I think shared misery is not really required since you already have cc from cold imbue (which ricochets a ton thanks to the crossbow aspect), trap and taunt. The problem with penitent though is its innate -- move speed on evade isn't quite helpful. This build needs a lot of evading so you ideally want evade cooldown reset or evade charges instead.
I am new to Rogue, does Item power on Bow/Crossbow affect dps for rapid fire build or Markman build in general? Atm I am using TB build so IP on xbow does no matter
Hey Xario, a big fan of your videos and breakdowns about Diablo 4 , just a question… Can this build be applied to an Eternal Realm character? If not, is there a build you’ve made similar to this with no malignant gems?
Agreed with Blizzard killing the game a bit, but it might not be completely over for the players that plays in eternal realm since seasonal is still optional.
Check out my previous rapid fire build guides (the ones from 4 weeks ago) for builds pre-season. Lots of great information. Here is the playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL5GXa9pP7xwVn3XN5Y0b0GytlnGvkHO62.html
i have a question about aspect of lethal dusk, so say u run steath as one of the 6 and u have points in on your steah an u choose between the guarantee crit strike or vulnerable , since that aspect grants u steath can that generate that proc with out u poping stealth from your direct skill, srry if that’s confusing
Are there any viable builds that use a non-puncture basic skill? Also, have you done any testing with that new legendary that gives every 3rd cast of puncture a poison imbue? Just curious. Great vids!
Its fun, i used it while leveling to proc the poison imbue passives faster and disobedience instead of using poison trap, trap is more for later game nm pushing but im personally thinking about trying to add space for it.. 🤦♂️ it would've just been smarter if they made the other puncture alt to the poison seeing that nobody uses it and with the barber combo fudging up the vuln from puncture
The only aspect i can think of MAYBE letting go is accelerating (and then taking the 12-15 to leyranas attack speed node) or maybe shared misery but youd have to rearrange everything to fit the extra offensive aspect which i have no idea if it would even be possible...
Hey Xarrio can you do a breakdown of the aspect of corruption? Does it increase ny chill effect by 40%? Does it increase mixed cold imbuements damage percent by 40%? Is it worth running?
I haven't tested it tbh, but I'd assume that it increases the effects of you imbuements (the shadow explosions, the chill effect and the extra poison dmg). The Mixed cold imbuement dmg... I wouldn't think that it would effect that, but I know there was a Wudi vid where he said that it does.
Nice build! Have you tried running umbrous aspect with it? You'd be able to get dark shroud charges without having dark shroud on your skill bar, giving you 40% DR and either movespeed or crit chance depending on which passive you take
@@Oscarizxc oh really? I guess I shouldn't be surprised that yet another thing is broken in this game. Thanks for letting me know, haven't found a barber yet
@@sneaky5141 Why should it? restricting effects like barber to not be the best for every single build is a good thing. it performs very well. But i would hate to have effects that is mandatory to every build. why have other hearts in the game if picking another is always just worse, no matter the build. And the gearing would have the same drawback where a few stats is a must have that would be most beneficial to support that effect. This is a problem diablo 4 must solve, in every rogue build before season 1 the best builds were using the same aspects and stats. Except for a few variations. "NEW BEST ROGUE BUILD" showcasing 1 or 2 aspect swaps and moving a few talent points. That is boring. But they are working on it. By not having restrictions on gearing there would be less choice, and no reason to experiment trying to solve and create something new and different without huge drawback.
@@tuclance The thing is, if it explodes in 2~3 secs then it could possibly wipe out groups of mobs a bit quickly. If he thinks treating boss is alot easier, he could use shorter one.
@@tuclance nah opposite. Lets say we have 2 secs barber and it explodes doing 50% of monster. If there were 2 monsters explode within range, they both die in 2 secs, while 4 secs barber needs 4 secs or additional attack to finish quickly. Dealing boss, especially with 6 sec vulnerable with concealment, 4 secs barber would be better I guess.
Have you considered going Frostbitten aspect and Exposure key passive to freeze the enemies you are chilling with frost Imbuement? Then you could lean into some of our frost passives for more dmg too Edit: maybe exposure doesn't work with barber, hadn't considered that at first.
@@sneaky5141 I was wondering if imbue heart plus death trap plus preparation. Still haven’t got to WT4 so I’m slow and thinking ahead. But I love builds that drop the basic skill
Apparently barber procs shadow imbue passives like consuming shadows, you ever test or notice this? Tried to see if it would proc lethal dusk but i dont think im that lucky lol
You could always drop Poison Trap for Poison Imbuement. You will lose the knock down, but both quickly stack up Disobedience. You would want to move the Skill Point in Trap Mastery as well.
quick question for any1. i bn rockin a maxed rolled crowded sage on my bc the only cheats i have is only 18%. i am also usin stolen vigor. should i swap to the lower cheats or sumthin else like manglers or shared misery?
It doesn't work in the sense that if your first hit crits, then it won't proc exploit, but if your first hit doesn't crit, then it will proc it. Also, when barber explodes, it will proc exploit always.
If you have the barber heart, get the passive that provides mana regen when killing with shadow damage (which barber's explosion does). If you don't have the barber heart, get the rapid fire upgrade that restores mana when hitting a vulnerable enemy. The best thing about rapid fire build is it doesn't require a max-rolled umbral aspect to maintain resource, that thing is just incredibly rare
The only time I ever feel energy starved is on bosses sometimes if the fight is takin a bit. Even then it isn't too bad. Just make sure you are hitting your punctures and you should get plenty of energy. The other thing that helps a lot is getting energy cost reduction on your boots.
Can anyone confirm shared misery works with barber? Does it proc the lucky hit just by hitting the enemies without having to wait for barber's explosion?
Speed farming was too easy and you just run through things 1 shotting entire packs. I wanted to show off how the actual build performs using the whole kit, which you cant really show when 1 hit kills everything. But yes, maybe I should have shown some speed farming as I'm sure some would like to see that too.
I just recently added rain of arrows with Hakan to my rapid fire/flurry/cold imbue build. It does some crazy damage if placed well. Still getting used to it though. Gonna wait for next patch to really judge it.
If they ever make pvp an actual thing in this game, def would love that. Right now pvp just feels meh to me, not much action, no real objectives, and there isn't much incentive to do it. Plus to really do pvp, I'd have to change up my gear/spec for it, which isn't convenient in a pve game.
Survivability seems to be a big issue with Rapid Fire for me. I find myself taking a ton more damage than on the melee rogue builds (twisting blades, flurry). I'll have to try to use stealth/concealment, I guess.
@@Xarrio Combo Points, Momentum, and Stolen Vigor heals with 3 momentum stacks is a really balanced combination of damage and survivability. I was playing Rapid Fire, emulating Xarrio, and I decided to try leveling with twisting blades this season and Momentum is really good. I thought I would lose a lot of damage not running close quarters combat but Momentum keeps me engaged and doing damage more consistently because of the health/energy sustain and damage reduction.
Barber eats the Aspect of Repeating and totaly ruins the Shadow Imbuement Explosion Dmg. I dont see any benefit on using it on a Rapid Fire Rogue to be honest. I completely hate how u cant kill solo trash mobs with the barber coz u need to wait for the useless explosion of a mob that is dead in 1 shot anyway.
TBF I probably over complicated some of the fights by going for resets/restealths more than was needed at times b/c I was having so much fun w/ it. Once you get used to it, it comes pretty second nature and feels really good b/c you get to "outplay" the enemies.
@@Xarrio I've been wondering, would it still work to essentially spam the keys for evade/basic/core during combat or is it really important to keep an actual rotation of actions? I've been using Maxroll's twisted blades build and I like that I can just dash into combat and start mashing but all the relevant buttons repeatedly without having to worry much about timing or juggling cooldowns.

This looks fun imma try this build thank you!
what is the difference between this build and the standard rapidfire endgame build from maxroll? in terms of dps and survivability
Sorry it's kind of specific but it's really hard to test and I was hoping you knew the answer, I think Rogues might have similar effects
thankyou,
how about the aspect where marksmen skills have a chance to grant a shadow
I can't find the Barber, how can I replace it?
Really great one man ! Don’t you think you could use Temerity ? With Concealment regen ? You can proc Temerity Barrier’s everytime you’re stealth
I might test it !
Hi Xarrio, was Umbrous aspect dropped becos of the Barber? ever tried Umbrous instead of barber for more survivability?
Yes, and yes that was what I was using pre-patch before the barber. It definitely works well and gives a lot of survival, but then you lose a lot of clear speed. I wanted to create a build that has more AOE dmg w/ rapid fire this season, and thus need the barber. But yes, a non-barber build w/ umbrous will be much more tanky, probably better for pushing T100 tbh since if all you care about is clearing it, speed doesn't matter.
@@Xarrio thanks for reply, I'm running druid this season instead of Rogue and was shocked to see Umbrous missing lol
Every time I use concealment I still get hit. I’m using shadow imbued and cal traps. Do you recommend the cold imbued.
This build rocks everything I'm having so much fun with it hope it will works on Uber Lillth
you hope to stealth on uber lilith?
Curious why you didnt used Dash to proc CQC?
Awesome!
Can you explain why you changed the paragon order compared to your previous build?
I just showed the end game paragon board this time around. It is the same as the previous video. But after experimenting and using them a bit more, I think the end game board is fine for leveling up too, so I just used it to prevent complications and having to show 2 boards that are very similar anyways.
@@Xarrio thx bro that makes sense
Anything different with the new patch out today
Is it good playable on xbox? I´ve heard, that it´s quite hard with controller instead of mouse + keyboard?
Pen greaves can work fine too, tho I like regular boots more for the reduce evade cd on attack.
I am new to Rogue, does Item power on Bow/Crossbow affect dps for rapid fire build
or Markman build in general?
Atm I am using TB build
so IP on xbow does no matter
Yes it matters for range.
Hey Xario, a big fan of your videos and breakdowns about Diablo 4 , just a question…
Can this build be applied to an Eternal Realm character? If not, is there a build you’ve made similar to this with no malignant gems?
blizz killed eternal, play seasonal or play a different game
Unfortunately no =(
@@Xarrio rip:( dang i was ba say😅
Rapid Fire with Energy generation + necklace unique that turns your Rain of arrow with all the imbuements.
@@Xarrio thanks bruv
Hehe I was wondering why I hadn't yet seen a build with Lethal Dusk + Mending Obscurity and Quickening Fog + Trickery
Does Skyhunter work on this build?
looks like we are cosplaying vayne in d4 XD
Nice build! Have you tried running umbrous aspect with it? You'd be able to get dark shroud charges without having dark shroud on your skill bar, giving you 40% DR and either movespeed or crit chance depending on which passive you take
Doesn't work with Barber gem.
@@Oscarizxc oh really? I guess I shouldn't be surprised that yet another thing is broken in this game. Thanks for letting me know, haven't found a barber yet
@@Frequencyyyits not broken its by dogshit design you cant lucky hit on absorbed damage
@@sneaky5141 yeah that's miserable, oh well
@@sneaky5141 Why should it? restricting effects like barber to not be the best for every single build is a good thing. it performs very well.
What sec do you prefer for barber?
im guessing for as much as possible sincie u do more final dmg if its longer...
@@tuclance The thing is, if it explodes in 2~3 secs then it could possibly wipe out groups of mobs a bit quickly. If he thinks treating boss is alot easier, he could use shorter one.
@@회멸 a shorter time is better vs bosses u mean?
@@tuclance nah opposite. Lets say we have 2 secs barber and it explodes doing 50% of monster. If there were 2 monsters explode within range, they both die in 2 secs, while 4 secs barber needs 4 secs or additional attack to finish quickly.
Dealing boss, especially with 6 sec vulnerable with concealment, 4 secs barber would be better I guess.
Have you considered going Frostbitten aspect and Exposure key passive to freeze the enemies you are chilling with frost Imbuement?
Then you could lean into some of our frost passives for more dmg too
Edit: maybe exposure doesn't work with barber, hadn't considered that at first.
You can also use the heart that drops grenades on lucky hit.
@@Neilstube356 actually just found that one last night and thought about it. Don't think I can give up my decoy, dmg absorbing and wrathful tho
Does the lesser stealth proc concealment modifiers?
Nope =(
Does Barber mean you can’t get RF mana regen?
Trying to work out if you can drop the basic skill?
just drop the barber ffs its actually cbt

Apparently barber procs shadow imbue passives like consuming shadows, you ever test or notice this? Tried to see if it would proc lethal dusk but i dont think im that lucky lol
Yes it does b/c barber does shadow dmg.
Crazy play
11:08 - "using exploit on your amulet". I don't understand. Exploit is a Glyph. How do I use it on my amulet?
Exploit is also a rogue passive skill that you can get on your amulet.
Can anyone help me? I use RF then evade, but I often evade into mobs. When I point elsewhere to evade, my RF would shoot blanks, missing the mobs
been waiting for this, don't really like poison trap, but i'll try it out
I wouldn't sleep on it, psn trap/smokebomb/conceal all do a great job at buying you time to reposition and heal up
If you don't like poison trap, you can do dash with the aspect that makes you drop a smoke grenade. More mobility but loses other useful aspects
You could always drop Poison Trap for Poison Imbuement. You will lose the knock down, but both quickly stack up Disobedience. You would want to move the Skill Point in Trap Mastery as well.
How do you find it compared to the meta twisting blade?
actually fun?
What happened to the paragon board on mobalytics ? It is all messed up
Just checked it and it looks okay to me, what is wrong with it on your end?
@@Xarrio Really sorry I probably had to reset my browser/pc and it fixed. It only showed like 2 boards
quick question for any1. i bn rockin a maxed rolled crowded sage on my bc the only cheats i have is only 18%. i am also usin stolen vigor. should i swap to the lower cheats or sumthin else like manglers or shared misery?
Does this build rely on barber
Not rely but the DPS is definitely a drop off without, you won’t be hitting 6-8m without it imo.
Genius
awesome build
Thanks!
Paragon Board is bugged with an extra point and we can’t see the board anymore :(
Edit: fixed, thanks
Really hard to get the barber heart... And without it this build is not really efficient. 😢
How come you are using exploit in paragon, I thought exploit glyph didn’t work with Barber?
It doesn't work in the sense that if your first hit crits, then it won't proc exploit, but if your first hit doesn't crit, then it will proc it. Also, when barber explodes, it will proc exploit always.
i've been enjoying the build but i'm feeling pretty energy starved, trying to figure out what i'm doing wrong as to why that is
If you have the barber heart, get the passive that provides mana regen when killing with shadow damage (which barber's explosion does).
@@Xarriopuncture doesn’t regen energy though correct? What do you mean by this?
Puncture does restore energy.
@@whos_agent2129bro read the description of the skill node 😂
Can anyone confirm shared misery works with barber? Does it proc the lucky hit just by hitting the enemies without having to wait for barber's explosion?
Yes it works. No need to wait for explosion.
would have been nice to see speedfarming gameplay
Speed farming was too easy and you just run through things 1 shotting entire packs. I wanted to show off how the actual build performs using the whole kit, which you cant really show when 1 hit kills everything. But yes, maybe I should have shown some speed farming as I'm sure some would like to see that too.
i finally gave in to barber heart😂
feels like penetrating shot can be used in place of the rapid fire as well.
I beg for Prep Rapid Fire w/ Rain of Arrows w/ word of hakan! 😊 Pleaseeeee
I just recently added rain of arrows with Hakan to my rapid fire/flurry/cold imbue build. It does some crazy damage if placed well. Still getting used to it though. Gonna wait for next patch to really judge it.
I think someone has a video out with that already 🤔
would love to see you in pvp
If they ever make pvp an actual thing in this game, def would love that. Right now pvp just feels meh to me, not much action, no real objectives, and there isn't much incentive to do it. Plus to really do pvp, I'd have to change up my gear/spec for it, which isn't convenient in a pve game.
We need build for lilith pls❤
range rouge is so endgame, I dont have enough items/mats/gold for another build.... smh. miss d3 range rouge before the nerf T_T
Survivability seems to be a big issue with Rapid Fire for me. I find myself taking a ton more damage than on the melee rogue builds (twisting blades, flurry). I'll have to try to use stealth/concealment, I guess.
Ya, melee rogues have some additional defense from momentum. And with barber, we lose the use of dark shroud, which def hurts a bit.
Same here can't stand Barber ruins the feel of the game, stopped using it. 🤬😡 It was fun seeing the big damage numbers though. 😭
🤮😭😭😭😭😭
how are u getting those numbers in only lvl 79 O_O 6-7 million lol
Hmmm the gameplay sounds pretty complicated....
OMG level 79 rapid fire is already doing 8 million?
Thats with the barber dont forget
