the whole unscripted performance is honestly so iconic. i think it sounds so good to, it doesn’t sound recorded (in studio) so we don’t here as much of rachel overpowering other voices, and you can genuinely tell the cast was just having fun, and that was it. it sounds good in every way
Seriously the only time they fucking sang as team. Even when mr.Shue said we are not picking a lead for nations we are going to sing original songs as team. That was such bullshit because Rachel’s mic was louder than everyone else or she was sing louder to stand out. So this team has never song as one at a competition
The unscripted is actually the most accurate portrayal of a school choir I remember seeing in the show from when they were just in their room. (Granted, it's been a while since I've watched it all the way through.) My middle school choir did that type of thing all the time waiting for our teacher or if we weren't preparing for a concert/if she was next-door preparing the band kids for a concert, so if it was scripted, they should've done that type of thing more often for the accuracy but y'know
after finn dies santana preforms a song for him but the crying wasn’t scripted and the cast actually got up to comfort her but she just ran away bc she thought it’d help the scene

And I was just going with what Molly O'Connell said she said she ran out to give the scene more flare. and that's why I said great acting.
The whole ride with me performance looks like the cast started singing for fun and then the director recorded them and motioned to keep going with the dialogue they had planned.
I read somewhere (ages ago) that the cast was playing around singing songs and the director liked it and later decided to record and add that scene, i dont know if its the same song thought

0:13 is especially cute/funny because on Showmance etc. Kevin and Naya talked about how they always tried to make each other laugh or break during scenes. Artie is looking at Santana as she comes in so it's not only a break, but 100% Naya trying to make Kevin laugh
i always thought Jenna looked at Diana in edge of glory cos she was watching out for her and in awe that she was dancing because she couldn’t even walk a few episodes before, i thought it was a cute moment of ✨friendship✨
Everyone talking about Ride Wit Me. Can we talk about Harry nearly dying from nearly tripping over a chair. as a person with a coordination disorder i felt that on a personal level.
My favorite moment when someone breaks character is when Jonathan Groff breaks from hearing Amber's singing because he's supposed to be mean and in one scene he's like ":D woooow" hearing her
that performance being unscripted made me so happy bc it's one of those you see and think "damn this is so cool I wanna be there" AND IT WAS ACTUALLY REAL
The ride with me unscripted scene will always be my favourite moment, that and when they return to their high school after winning nationals expecting nothing from their classmates but instead are surprised by them with a big celebration while tongue tied plays in the background 😭
Brittany, Santana, and Mike also had a few lines especially Mike during the season 1. Santana was the only one who became significant at the end of the season giving her some more lines. It's the actor's fault that he left the show and not wait for his time to shine. Mike and Brittany had proper dialogues in season 2. If he hadn't left, he could've been a main character 🤷♀️
@Caleb Mayfield it's because they're not main characters. They're not series regulars. They were just supposed to be extra for that season. Mike isn't a main character until season 3 or 4. The bullies has more lines because they are anchored to a main character. Brittany has more because Santana become significant later on plus Quinn and Sue. I don't remember Lauren having so much lines in S1
“Some people just don’t know how to screw things” Mercedes laughing is me honestly. The cast performing Ride Wit Me unscripted is EVERYTHING. I love that one so much :( I wish they did more casual fun performances together just to vibe and goof off together.
In S3, the episode where Sam comes back, Santana is reading him her notebook of things she has written in his absence and Mike Chang (Harry) is trying hard not to laugh!!

in the 100th episode of glee when they were performing don’t stop believing, before darren aka blaine went up for his part, santana aka naya accidentally hit him in the head with her elbow and her apology was rly adorable. u can see it in the background.
If you watch Mike you’ll him raising his hand for a high five too. Brittany and Santana laugh at their little joke ignoring the guys and high five Artie and Mike.

Harry falling over the chair was so cute cause Mike and sam are 2 of my favourite characters and we didn't get to see much of them interacting despite being told they are good friends several times so it's just so sweet of Mike being so excited to see sam

You have no idea of how many times i've watched this video 😂! It's interesting how every time i'm sad or angry about something, Glee always makes me laugh. Doesn't matter if it's a memory that i have from the show, or a video, or a image. It always makes me feel better, and that's one of the reasons why i love Glee.
