lol I still love this so fucking much. He's so fed up with the bullshit of the tour. Generally he's such an easy-going dude in interviews but this one he's so fucking wound up.
I appreciate how honest he is , about a bit "anti rock and roll" his experience on this tour was in some ways. He really makes it known what a kind of life on tour, away from home , in places with people of a different receptive (or lacking there of in ways ) energy and psychology, and vibe he and the band has experienced. Doesn’t seem enjoyable since it’s like you can’t just say "I’m not feeling this, none of us are, I’m outta here, we are outta here" it’s a experience but it definitely has its draw backs at times. Feeling of confinement to a degree , not always meeting others that March to your tune so to speak. That’s cool, but Homesickness maybe is more evident then. I guess every environment has its standards , but damn, like the no smoking thing, jeez lol let people be free to do what thou wilt with harm to none. It does sound more stickler than I would have expected . It’s good to be considerate and respect others comfort as well but damn , they been hauling a$$ from Finland ,lol let them chill out lol every lifestyle and journey has the sides we don’t see. For sure. At least one can escape and stay a bit inspired through books and their own creativity when it strikes.
Just read the contortionist handbook, really good book. I can see Ville is also a Palahniuk fan since he was the one recommending clevenger's novel, also with heartsick.
not the best pick to be opening up for Metalica with Love Metal although it could be interesting, I just do not see the hardcore Metalica fans appreciating that.
This interviewer worded her questions a bit offensively in my opinion..., like she was may trying to get to the meat and potatoes quickly, but lacked sincere inquiry in my opinion. I could be wrong, but also sounds like at the time she didn’t know much about the band or enjoy them much. And that’s fine ,I don’t mind being wrong also. I could be use to seeing interviewers that were a lot more engaged and excited as well as interested and possibly fans.
@Nyx The Dark Phoenix I want to defend the interviewer a bit because it is obvious that Ville was not in a good mood. Apparently, it wasn't just the heat that bothered him, but the aftermath of rehab as well. He was also pissed off that it wasn't allowed to smoke - He apparently doesn't like rules that limit his personal preferences at all LOL. In this interview it becomes very clear how stressed and annoying the tour and all that was around him. For years he drowned this feelings in alcohol, but that was no longer an option. Personally, however, I think that's exactly what is good about this interview, because he seems more honest to me. However, I find the camera work very, very unfavorable, as it totally squeezes the faces - it looks weird.
@@tinkaward6921 wow , can’t believe I’m only seeing your reply now . I think because of the more recent reply on my comment . lol so I’m glad for that. TH-cam’s organization of replies and such were a bit confusing to navigate back then, at least for me. Channel notifications of new uploaded videos that I subscribed too and comment replied were all lumped in together in one notification page so it was crazy to check and find if anyone had more to add etc lol so glad it’s easier to check now. But anyway lol you make a good point as well. A lot of factors could play in to why an interview can seem lack luster in ways on both ends . I suppose I may have seen it as ville was showing unpleasant reception due to the interviewer themselves and not other circumstances or outside factors etc . After all you mentioned , taking that perspective into account , it could have possibly attributed to the overall mood for sure . Makes sense as well.
@@ReneeWashington-nl7rm Oh god, another one of those fans who reduces him to "totally cute, totally sexy and totally cool". It's so boring that so many fans seem to see only that in him, because this karma accompanies him to this day - and it's not doing him any good! This guy could do so much more with his talent - but on the other hand, maybe it's enough for him.
“i don’t do shit, i just wanna go back home” most relatable sentence
For some reason I just love this interview...Ville wearing a granddad cap and seeming slightly pissed off, it's adorable.
Yeah, he's cute when pissed off just like my cat. It's like impossible for him not to be adorable. lol

Maybe it was all her "mhms" 😅 and being sober that did it.
he is the most beautiful creature on earth
He really is
He's surely is.

I love this interview, for some reason I keep coming back to it, after years
My Ville Valo is totally funny, I loves listening to him talks, he's funny.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful man... i love you
He's surely is.
Clearly, Ville hated this tour. 😂

Ville Valo
I think he’s quite possibly the best looking man I’ve ever seen…❤
He's surely is the best looking man on this planet.
@@ReneeWashington-nl7rmhe’s flawless. I love his eyes. I could lie in bed and listen to him talk all night
He's cute anyway, even wearing a Winter hat in summertime

he looks really really annoyed...
А когда будет очень, очень расстроенный как он будет выглядеть?

Ville Valo has Severe Asthma and Allergies, those could be bothering him, too, but he's totally cute, totally sexy and totally cool.
