I think Nintendo is making a smart move here. They lost most of their portable gamers to smartphones which is one of the reasons why the 3DS didn’t sell as many units as the Nintendo DS, now they’re developing one of their most popular games for mobile users which will attract a lot of players. Plus more people have access to a mobile device than they do a Nintendo Switch. Not bad Nintendo, not bad.
Then give the switch the full gaming experience

You'll get it eventually. A fully fledged game takes a lot longer to develop if it's going to be an improvement on the 3DS version, plus they'd be stupid to play all of their cards at once. We have Mario and Zelda this year, patience is a virtue

The Mario kart 8/ Animal Crossing course, had real nice Graphics that I wish the switch will have if Animal Crossing gets released on that platform
While Pocket Camp seems to be fully-featured and pretty good as far as mobile games go, the real test will be - and always is for these type games - if you hit any egregious paywall(s). And since this just released (in Australia), it'll take time to see if you can enjoy it without spending a dime or if these Leaf Tickets are going to spoil the fun.
Hey mate I got my hands on it, and so far it's really addicting the leaf tickets are there but only to speed up little things as for the majority of the first levels crafting itself takes only 1-2min, although you do get a decent amount of tickets from grinding quests, although obviously there is the occasional gap where nothing is happening, it's easy to go on play a bit then come back in a few hours with refreshed stock and villager quests.
Ahhhhh I can't wait November can't get here soon enough!

How do they accidentally release it in a single particular country, which is no where near any other countries which will have a much larger guaranteed player base, I don't understand how a large company like that could simply slip up and release it like that.

Im honestly bummed its based around camping. It seems like a weird concept I thought it would be perfect to base it around homes and keeping it very social to play with friends since its a mobile game. It seems like a wasted potential, i'll definitely try it once its out and maybe i'll change my mind but hopefully we get a good full animal crossing experience on the switch!

they won't, it's a large file to accommodate the future updates that will unlock things in the app. The only thing you can do is wait for the Switch installment, and if this is to get people excited about like Reggie said, then you can start that countdown timer to this point next year as to Animal Crossing Switch's likely debut.

I'm honestly not disappointed about microtransactions; I mean the game is definitely going to be free, like Super Mario Run, so they need to have some income from it - it's also a way to let players decide how much they think the game's worth. ^^
I personally am incredibly excited for this, and impressed that Nintendo is finally starting to make proper games on platforms that they don't own.
