    I ordered the same setup you have from Amazon and received them a couple days ago. The only change I made was a power supply which I plan on using for my roof line as well as my lawn displays. Thanks for reviewing the 107 controller. I was debating on the 107 or 105 when I made my purchase and although I haven’t tried them yet, I think I’ll be happy with the 105. 👍🏻

      Absolutely, the 105 is good. I just want to add music sync to all the lights. I have a big plan in my head for a light display and little by little it will come together. Thank you for stopping by and showing support. I really appreciate it.

      Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback and the support on the channel. Stay tuned for upcoming reviews on different controllers. I plan on finding one that works well with the DIY music controller to pull off a massive light show.

    I've got a run on my house that is 73 feet in total. I'm trying to figure out if I should just do it your way or if I should go with the adressable. There are so many different options it's like a bottomless pit. The more I dig the more confused I get.

      Hello, let me start off by saying thank you for stopping by to check out the video on permanent LED lights. I made several video's on this subject " I hope you watched them all" soo let's get started. When I started drafting up ideas on how to do this project. I simply wanted the cheapest and easiest way possible to bring my house to life. My current controller has well over 100 different functions that I can use on any given holiday I choose. This set up is what works for me. Now as far as addressable lights, if you plan to ever get into adding programs to control your lights and spend 100s of hours a year for different displays then I would absolutely recommend you to go in that direction. Using addressable lights and adding wires, controllers, computers, junction boxes and so on is not for me. Using my set up I have one controller, 2 amplifiers and one power supply. Its simple, cheap and looks AWESOME.

    So I've been watching several other videos about addressable leds where you have to inject power every so often. If I go that route do I still need to amplifly the controller input or can I just hook it to one end and ride out?

    • @BoredGuyWithACamera
      @BoredGuyWithACamera  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Idk why I'm just seeing this. You can just power injection in the middle and at the end and you should be fine.

    Hello as I can see everything seems to be working well for you super :)
    I have the SP107e controller like you and I am wondering how much amps your power supply gives to the module it says in the manual to provide an Operating Current: 18mA ~ 45mA.
    Will it be that I will give 1.5 amps it is too much current and that will make so that the bluetooth module will not work? And how do you get to connect in Bluetooth I did everything ?? Connection with the gps ect ... to help me please :)

      Thank you for stopping by and showing support. I have since moved on from this controller but you have to have that "magic led" app from the app store to control it. I hope that helps.

    Looking at doing the same setup. Are you injecting power on runs larger than 16ft?

      Thank you for stopping by and showing support for the video and channel. I did not have to power inject any of my runs on the house. I ran the power injection just incase but I did not need to hook them up to my power supply. They are there incase I add more lights in the future.

    Hey man I need your advice.. I’ve watched all your videos and subscribed but still debating something. As of today 10/18/21 are you rolling with the btf 105 or the 107 with the audio jack? I like the option of adding music but you said 105 had 200 light options. Does the 107 have 200 also? The 107 didn’t seem to have as full a light show when the music was playing. Thanks for any insight

      No problem, im still using the 105. It has been the most useful to us for all the different holidays.

      @@BoredGuyWithACamera I’m sorry to ask so many questions just trying to make sure I order this right. I saw in a btf video you have to click on what led you have. Do you know if you can run pixels and strips at same time?

      Your good, yes you can run both at the same time. I've been playing with this idea alot, but those video's will not be ready until Christmas.
