Applying ACLs to Interfaces (IPv4 and IPv6) -- Access Control Lists (ACLs) -- Part 7 of 8

- So far, all we've done in the video series is configure Access Lists -- we haven't actually applied any of them to an Interface. That will be the focus of this video.
We'll talk through the commands "ip access-group" and "ipv6 traffic-filter" and provide some configuration examples. We'll then provide the full scope of what was discussed in part 1: that you can apply one ACL per interface, per direction, per protocol.

Awesome as usual, thanks!! :)
My pleasure!
We enjoyed we hope you to be successful..
Thank you !
thank you so much
Another top notch tutorial. I emailed you regarding private lessons on PBR and am interested in your private BGP class as well.
You're welcome. And, I got your e-mail =)
Ed, do you have a private class on how to get up and running with a VM like GNS3 or some other, VIRRL or whatever the latest, most common is? I've heard that Packet Tracers is usually enough for certification virtual studies. I'd be very interested.
I don't have a video on that, I'm afraid. David Bombal has a lot of GNS3 content on this channel. Packet Tracer is fine for CCNA only, but not for anything beyond... so it depends on what certifications you are going for.
im trying to use ip access-list on a vlan but it keeps saying invalid input, i know essentially nothing about cisco. please help. ios version is 12.0(5.2) and the switch is a 2900xl
You ought to post your question on Reddit, or some other support forum where more people will respond. TH-cam comments are not the best for troubleshooting =/
