Harz mountains climbing, Germany: Eschwegefels, topos, climbs and routes

This is all the information you require for climbing Escwegefels, part of Studenetenklippengruppe in the Harz mountains near Goslar in Germany.
We put this video together firstly to show where all the climbs were within the Studentenklippe group, however, realizing that the videos took to long, this has now been shortened into a view over the crag video, pointing out how to get to the area, where the anchors are, and information such as recommended climbs, or famous climbs. Each of the guides for the area also show topos of the most important climbs. (links to see the topos below)

My favourite climbs on these faces are:
Lammbock, Direckter Plattenweg and Südriss. Südriss has a great view from the top on a clear day, overlooking the Marienwand group.
Highlights: Eschwegefels is close to the road, but far away enough to keep the traffic noise at bay. It has some really well thought out top anchors, and some of the harder routes are very well protected for sport climbing. The view from the top is excellent, and the mix of routes and grades will suit everyone. The shortcut to the fels /crag, might be a little difficult for small children, but with some effort and a little help the walk is worth it.
