Victoria H. Lou didn't quit. Well, technically, he did, but he had to. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor and the medicine that was part of his treatment made him gain weight, on top of pretty much ruining his voice. He's coming back though. His awesome voice is getting better every week. Kelly Hansen is a great vocalist in his own right, it's true. But he sounds so good with Foreigner because he has the incredible vocal templates Lou laid down in the studio, to follow. Kelly's a great performer but his stage presence is nowhere near Lou's. But then, even Lou Gramm had to work hard to be Lou Gramm on stage.

Foreigner "lost it" permanently with Agent Provocateur back in '84 going the crybaby route of Journey, whom I never liked, but could accept something like "I Want to Know What Love Is" by them because that's what I'd expect from them. I clicked on this because it was one of the side options.
En serio eso notas?, es extraño más bien lo noto muy plano, como que si lo cantase por cantar, pero no transmitir mucho, basta escuchar las 3 canciones más representativas (las baladas) de Foreigner y te das cuenta que no trasmite emoción, desgarro como lo hacía Lou gramm.
There’s another video out there from their Chicago concert with Lou Graham singing along with Kelly. There is a lot of respect between the men I think you can see it. God bless Lou Gramm for being gracious enough to allow the music to continue… He passed the torch to Kelly who definitely does the songs justice! Respect 👍🏻

I owned every LP Foreigner put on the market...heck, even had them 8 track tapes.... and now with Kelly as lead vocal, Jeff on Bass, the HOF'er Mick, and damned if Tom Gimbel isn't one fantastic sax player...add in Michael, Bruce and Chris, & I can't get enough of the group once again! Mick, at 70 years old, can still outplay many Guitarist half his age!
