So often this kind of speech and presentation these days can be put off to a person's greater age when what we are listening to is wisdom.
Sorry I think he is speaking slowly because of his age. He spoke more quickly when he was younger and most of us can keep up with somebody who speaks at a faster pace. This is not to say that he’s not a valuable and appreciated speaker and writer.

What I do not understand is why Woodward did not go to the press when he had knowledge that Trump was deliberately downplaying the Covid danger. Why did he wait until his book was published to release these facts. It would have helped take Trump down 4 years ago and saved hundreds of thousands of lives all over the world. 😳

It is encouraging to hear an interview with a person who speaks more slowly and deliberately, someone who considers his words and what he is saying and has the background to stand behind it's seriousness. So often this kind of speech and presentation these days can be put off to a person's greater age when what we are listening to is wisdom.
Sorry I think he is speaking slowly because of his age. He spoke more quickly when he was younger and most of us can keep up with somebody who speaks at a faster pace. This is not to say that he’s not a valuable and appreciated speaker and writer.
