In this video, we go over a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus Cracked Screen Repair. In this method, we teardown the device and remove the entire AMOLED display from the frame. This is another method of repairing the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus if you need to swap middle frames. If mid-frame is still good repair can be done without taking the phone apart like our new “in frame series” videos.

I think what I'm realizing watching all of this is this is not like repairing a tv or computer. This is really detailed and technical and now that $279 fee to replace the screen I didn't get the insurance for sounds reasonable. First phone I've ever dropped in 23 years since I got my first phone in 97 (some sort of Nokia). And the insurance from T-Mobile would've worked out to more with the deductible anyway, so it worked out. I thought my renter's insurance covered it, but I guess not.

Hey I appreciate the video and info and I just had a question if you wouldn't mind because your glass only in frame repair video for the Note 10 Plus isn't up yet so I'm a little confused.
So if I were to do the glass only repair (in frame) myself I'm assuming I'd need warming pad (at 85 degrees) and separator to remove the glass from the Amoled, but then after it's removed and if I had the replacement glass.. does installing it onto the amoled require an autoclave? Or can it be installed just using the warming pad?
I used to be a mechanic and then got into repairing phones and tablets for a while years ago but then I got out of it not long after they started using loca glue, so I'm not familiar with oca at all and I was considering attempting to repair the broken glass on mine but if it needs an autoclave or laminating machine I'll at least know I won't be able to. Thank you for your help!
I would not recommend attempting this repair unless you are professional in this trade. You will end up doing more damage and then incur more cost

In the description, you mention "in frame" repair. Does this mean you can replace the glass cover over the digitizer without dismantling the digitizer from the frame? (In other words, can I pull the glass cover off the black digitizer without all the tinkering with my phones innards?) Perhaps I'm totally confused on what "in frame" even means... lol! Your help is GREATLY appreciated.
Yes you sure can! I am actually working on that video where we don't take it apart. Should be out soon. I took this one fully apart so we can make a tester of the main logic board:) Just finished 11 Pro Max thats uploading now. Stay tuned!:)
PS: In Frame means repairing the amoled inside frame without taking it apart;)

Freezer success rate very low not worth the risk.

I'm a phone enthusiast and have completed several repairs for family and friends. Of recent my Samsung S10 has got smashed and I need a complete replacement LCD. I've had a bad experience before ordering from China with the display been quite poor and the digitizer been a little laggy. If anyone would mind telling me where they get their lcds from it would be greatly appricated. There just seems to be so many chineese stores on Aliexpress, Alibaba and Made in China i don't know who to trust.

My note 10 Plus had very fine cracks working fine overall but the only main issue is biometrics is no longer working. What cost am I seeing if you guys were to fix it

Could be numerous of things. Maybe something interfering where the antenna is? Would have to see it.

No other way that i know of need machine to pressurize everythign out.

have you ever face the issue idle battery drain something like 5-10%/hour after doing something like this?i can see the copper sheet got puncture a little from the back but everything else work perfect except the battery drain issue.
i just want to make sure before i replace the whole display assembly coz it is not cheap

Hi! I'd like to get some help here. I bought a screen for a note 10+ with the glass cracked ( the oled is good) but the seller said that the touch is bad. I thought that by replacing the glass the touch function will be fixed but I can't see a flex connection in that glass. So, the screen has integrated this touch function and I just bought garbage? I got it on ebay and still being shipped. thank
Touch cannot be replaced. You will have to buy new screen

Yes we made a tester device out of this phone. So we pulled off AMOLED .

In samsung store its £279 with battery change.
I tried doing this on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus. To start, the crack was a very small one on one of the upper corners. Barely noticeable. I thought well, it should look better when I am done. I applied heat somewhre between 70 and 85 degrees. I started prying very little on the top as careful as possible. Then very quickly the task became easier and I didn't have to force it much. I noticed the screen came off. I mean the glass with the first layer of film attached to it. I am assuming that is the part that supposed to stay behind and attached to the phone. I remember this phone had been fixed by a shop about a year back at a mall. They had fixed a broken rear glass. I dont know what happened but the phone only works to receive calls as there is no display. The background is silver and I have the other part attached to the broken grass summerged in alcohol for the nighgt. I hope to get the fim out of the glass in the morning just to see what it is.. Is there any way to buy that film and attach it to the new glass I already have for this phone? Please any help will actually help..

Ok so I have a repair I need done ever so badly. I have been in the business on an intermediate level professionally for a long time. Just not in the last two or three years. Anyway. Wife cracked her note 10 all the way through. So I replaced it myself, frame and all of course. Worked fine. Now. She dropped it the other day. Nothing happened to the screen. However. She was unable to charge via cable. Only wirelessly. Shortly thereafter, her signal began dropping randomly. What in tarnation is going in with the internal antenna or other cables? Would you be able to swap the new display from the frame it came in into her original one?
I had this same problem, no signal and only charges with an old non‐fast charger from LG. Did you ever figure out what caused this issue?

If you go to samsung service center they will replace battery and screen together but costs will be expensive.

I dont understand why you have to disassemble the whole phone if you you're only replacing the front glass. I can understand if the screen was damaged therefore you have to unattach the flex cable.

Why remove the amoled once the cracked glass was removed? Couldn't you just put another glass screen on it at that point?
