I don't believe that the particular SKED being used in this demonstration is the correct one for this type of application. I am not sure how the standards are for other countries as compared to ours, but we use ones with cynch straps instead of the snap/clip attatchments. They are more prone to breakage. But then again, for the number of straps that are used, this could be just another example of other organizations Standard Operating Procedures.

blah blah blah....its a training exercise, nothing was given about the MOI so who knows what the injuries were and whether the patient should be horizontal or vertical, doesn't mater....they were showing the technique used to access and extract the patient using Rope Access methods, good skills by the brothers!
