I was lucky enough to see Low 3 times, at the local record store where I worked. They crashed at my place. Al, Zack and Mimi were some of the nicest people I ever met. So sorry to hear that Mimi is gone.

I recognised an unexpectedly inexplicable influence of Low on my own new music recently, even though I wasn't THAT familiar with their work! Perhaps Mimi was reaching out through the cosmos to open ears. Catching up with gorgeous stuff like this now from the brilliant Hey What album to acquaint myself with them better. No worries. Once you know that's what he's using it becomes fairly easy working out what his hands are doing in videos. Any problems feel free to send me a PM, I can generally work out LOW songs in a few minutes or so
When Low did a KEXP session some 12 years, Alan answered a question about his guitar tuning. It's an open G tuning he's used since he was 19 so the chords he plays are going to appear in slightly different shapes and places along the fretboard as opposed to standard tuning. Once tuned to open G, then you could suss out the chords he's playing and then transpose them back to standard tuning if you prefer. Hope that helps. Amazing song by the way. Alan and Mimi's singing voices were made for each other ❤️
