But what about other parts like motors, sensors etc. I think only Samsung is providing 5 years comprehensive warranty on some models. Most of local ac mechanics are in favour of noninverter acs. So, these details are also required to get cost of ownership.

Inverter versus non inverter, I will tell you what the difference is. My very first ac was a non inverter ac as in those days inverter technology was not out yet. I use to set the temperature at 24 degrees. It use to cool the room till 23 one degree less, thereafter the compressor use to go off and power on only at 25 degree . I can tell you this was very uncomfortable. I use to wait till the compressor would get on to get a gasp of fresh air, something like switching the ac off every 3 minutes. Its not about power saving , the way it works is just irritating. Don't ever buy a non inverter ac .

It is said that if their is direct sun light on your room, you should go with non- inverter AC. But I always think that if we choose inverter AC for such conditions it will not save power during day, but in night it will give benifit. Please advise.

@@SanjuP22 Bedrooms where A/C is used mainly through the night with the door shut would be OK with inverter ACs. Open living areas ( with no doors to isolate the area) will be best served with non inverter A/Cs as they have a constant grill temperature when the compressor is running, regardless of set temp. Theoretically inverter A/Cs are supposed be more energy efficient. But in the practice the theory doesn't always account for all the variables.

Sir m carrier ka 2 ton 3 star non inverter AC le raha hu gaw ke liye. Ye 2021 ka model hai. Or room ki size 15×15 hai. Room ke 2 wall totally glass ki hai. Or 2 wall concrete ki hai. Or pr direct sun light aati hai. Or gaw me light bhi regular nahi aati. To sir ye ac sahi rahega. Or ye ac 43000 ka raha. Es AC ke price 43000 hi hai kya?
It is said that if their is direct sun light on your room, you should go with non- inverter AC. But I always think that if we choose inverter AC for such conditions it will not save power during day, but in night it will give benifit. Please advise.

Similarly, the rest the compressor gets every time it shuts off allows it and it's motor to cool down and improves its longevity as well.

@@SanjuP22 Bedrooms where A/C is used mainly through the night with the door shut would be OK with inverter ACs. Open living areas ( with no doors to isolate the area) will be best served with non inverter A/Cs as they have a constant grill temperature when the compressor is running, regardless of set temp.
Theoretically inverter A/Cs are supposed be more energy efficient. But in the practice the theory doesn't always account for all the variables.

It is on ground floor and no direct sun lights.
Average usage will be 4-6 hrs daily for 4-6 months.
It is mail hall of the house and kitchen area is open from main hall.
