Excellent tutorial using DesignSpark Mechanical. I plan on watching all of your tutorials. You are a great teacher. I am using V6 now and just getting started again as I had used V4 years ago. Keep up the most excellent work. 👍
Just a few tips for people who want to go fast; If you have a square, and you double klick the border, you can select the "offset curve" tool next to the point tool, that draws a rectangle at any given distance. another time saver: if you draw a "construction" line in the center of the short side of the rectangle, then with the right mouse button on that construction line (any length wil do) there is a "set as mirror line " option. If you repeat that for the longer side of that same square, you only have to draw ONE circle and it mirrors the other 3 circles. and it also pulls all 4 circles at once for the same depth. Try a few construction lines through on point about 3 or 4 in different angles and set them as mirror very fast drawing, and some nice figures to be made like a clock face Kind regards Hans
This is exactly one of the reason why I share this video : to get cool feedbacks like this one. Awesome tips Man, I haven't tried using double of the mirror line yet, but now will do, thanks to your sharing. Have a great day :)
@@hanspijpers2100 Hi, looks like one of your comment about scaling 3D object got hidden by YT :D I already take some note from the notification, thank you :)
Yes, we can export one solid/component at a time. To do that, for example if we want to export the box, hide other solids/components from the structure tab on the left, then export. Repeat the process, by showing the box but hide the other (cover), then export to STL.
Beautiful. I learned a lot! Thank you.

Can you make a robot car chassis?
How do you export it as a .STL file so that you can print the box and cover separately
Yes, we can export one solid/component at a time. To do that, for example if we want to export the box, hide other solids/components from the structure tab on the left, then export. Repeat the process, by showing the box but hide the other (cover), then export to STL.
how export step file????????????
You'll need to purchase the add-on modules to export to step file :)
