LOL. Would love your thoughts on what you're going to do differently this time around. For example, if you don't go through everything in that week, do you just extend it until all activities are done, or do you simply move on to week 2?
@@rickyc859 Just finished our first week of curriculum! Still figuring out exactly how we plan to implement, but we did the art, music and literature activities this week with both preschooler and kindergartener. I think we will try for these three areas each week, and then add in additional activities as they appeal to us. :) I think my downfall last time was trying to do it all, and it felt a little disjointed, which threw us off our groove. Felt too forced! But looking forward to trying again with a different approach.
@@ThatsRightIHomeschool thanks! I actually gave up on this. I find the activities are not right for us (at least not now, maybe will try again when she is older).
I picked up Blossom & Root for my first year with my upcoming Kinder kid. I have never homeschooled before myself, so there are some things that are very attractive about it. But I know too that it aligns with my Waldorf and Charlotte Mason philosophical twinges, so I'm looking forward to seeing how my son responds and grows with it.
For religious reasons we don’t listen to music, but I think we will go with this curriculum and just switch out the music for something else. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Eating my own words! We are trying Vol 1 again in the 2024-2025 school year 😊

@@rickyc859 2 weeks in... it's still definitely not our favorite 😂
@@ThatsRightIHomeschool hahaa. I realize I like themed curriculums! We are currently going through Playing Preschool 1 and am liking it so far.
