I was obsessed with guitar when I start high school played for a while practiced a ton took a break for 3 years recently got back into it, starting to appreciate how wonderful my equipment is even though it discouraged me before. I’ve been having this mindset like why do I have to play this same hard rock, metal shit I’ve been doing over and over again, why not take songs that I love no matter the genre and play them. I’ve been taking pop songs, and playing the vocal part, and I just feel so right, it is music after all. This gives me some inspiration. Most of the time Les Pauls seem lacking on the top end for my taste, every so often I hear one and I’m just in disbelief like Jesus Christ that sounds INCREDIBLE!! Thinking Al Dimeola Race with the Devil... well yours is one of them all day long, and that’s praise indeed, because I’m picky as hell and I know what I’m talking about, but that’s the sort of thing where you don’t think about it, or decide, you just get hit with it and stand up like yes! that’s it!. Cheers, never stop doing what your doing.
