It just seems like a lot of work but it's worth it. I just bought a brand new Levi's denim jacket that I want to convert into a vest. I plan to cut the sleeves off and leave about 4 in for The Fray. I'll let you know how it turns out.
It actually turned out awesome! I was very happy with it. It looked okay before I washed it But when it came out the dryer it was exactly what I was hoping for 😀👌
miancatz I've washed mine multiple times and haven't had anything happen! The fridge it's self is more curly and full. But for affecting other clothing items I haven't experienced anything. Probably depends on the type of jeans though :-)
Hi Janice, thanks for watching the video! I'm sorry that's happening. The fray is going up the leg? That's strange. Mine haven't done this and I did this almost 3 years ago. I wonder if it's because it's so large.. or maybe it's the quality of the jeans? Try a clear nail polish or fabric glue! I've also heard that taking a lighter can help but that sounds scary to me haha.

It is time consuming! Let me know how it goes though :)

Great video! Jeans came out great! Thanks!
what about the washing part? will the fringe affect the other clothes in the washing machine?
