      For me it's the other way around. There are enogh arias to make me wish I was a tenor and not some weird baritone-bass mix... Anyway, there are very beutiful arias for every voice type.

    He is almost certainly not a tenor. Not sure why people are saying he is. That said it’s a shame he is manipulating his voice and removing its natural maturity warmth fullness purity and beauty.
    It’s a shame because you can tell he is certainly trying to manufacture a mature masculine timbre, but the ironic thing about the voice is it becomes most mature when it is freed and not manipulated

    • @youngornitier
      @youngornitier 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      he is absolutely a tenor, there is massive amounts of acoustic evidence to it not only in just his operatic singing but even has done pop singing performances sounding like any bigger tenor voice, not to mention his speaking voice is too high to be a baritone.

    • @hightenor12
      @hightenor12 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@youngornitier what an absolutely generalized, one shoe fits all diagnosis.
      Where’s your Met debut program?
      Internet know it alls…
      I sing heavy tenor, have an extremely low speaking voice, and my second passage happens after most of the “tenor” tenor’s I know, and they all tell me they wish they had my weight up to a Bb4…do you see how arrogant and all knowing that all sounds?
      That’s you, bud.
      Back to being sarcastic for effect, but if I went off of your standards, I would only sing You’re a Mean One Mr Grinch because of my naturally lower speaking voice.

    Beaucoup trop de force malheureusement vous avez des beaux aigus mais les fatigues et les pertes de souffle à chaque fin de phrase et la perte du tempo sont très pénibles et enlèvent beaucoup de crédibilité en ce personnage. Il n'y a pas de force à donner dans cet air, seul le texte est à déclamer et cela suffit amplement et si ceci peut vous inspirer voici un exemple chez Ernest blanc th-cam.com/video/ZQU7JkOb42Y/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=liederoperagreats très cordialement

      Leonard Warren could sing a high C, and he was a lower baritone than Lucas. The notes you have in the practice room have little bearing on your voice type.

    • @jacobhuffty7411

      @@cristovaomendoca8164 Both of which are Verdi Baritones, lol. You can't use inherently darker voices to judge what makes someone a lighter voice. This seems to be a problem unique to baritones, as you would never argue that Samuel Ramey was not a bass because his voice wasn't as dark as Frick's or Moll's. While they are all basses, they are almost two different voice types!
      Also your argument doesn't make sense if you have listened to more than 5 baritones. Herman Prey, Heinrich Schlusnus, Ettore Kim, and Thomas Hampson (someone many also argue is a tenor) all have higher voices that Lucas, yet all of them have had very long careers as baritones.
      Plus, you and I only ever heard any of these singers on recording, making all this speculation meaningless.
