Hi sir many thanks for sharing this knowledge. I have 15 years in pharmaceutical packaging machines especially blister and bottle packing. I am serialisation team lead for last 4.5 years. Currently working on Optel and Jekson systems. I have no knowledge in SAP ATTP. Do you suggest me to learn about SAP ATTP? If yes where can i learn it. Iam a resident of Hyderabad BTW.

I wanted to share my 2 cents that I learnt from seniors. The following is what I heard from people who are working in Serialization since early 2010s. Yes, Serialization does exists for a long time. They told that the golden days of ATTP seems to be over. With most major mandates implemented already (US, Russia, EU, China) and with only DSCSA Phase 2 left which can keep the industry busy until 2023 end (that too it's not entirely a new thing), things have slowed down post that and there will be small mandates like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan etc will keep coming. But it's only an addition to existing Serialization. Back then every company wanted to implement Serialization. Now every company has Serialization solution already implemented be it Travelink or ATTP or anything else. So for new mandates, the reporting just needs to be enabled based on the needs. If you closely observe, the demand for ATTP was more back in 2018 because of EU and Russia and now it's because of DSCSA, all the companies are panicking now and rushing to be compliant.. Serialization and ATTP is at a point where it's stabilized now. It's not a good idea to stick to ATTP. The industry has now stabilized and there are more folks now in Serialization than few years ago. PS: I myself working in ATTP at the moment. But wanting to rebrand myself as soon as possible. Some of the juniors put into ATTP in our project didn't want to learn ATTP and moved to other modules.
