When I used to live in Austin our warm up spot was on Riverside Dr, and inspired by Bob I'd do long sweeping lines through this grocery store parking lot. Then a couple of years later Bob actually moved to Austin, filmed this part, and did the exact same line I did with the exception of his last trick being a backwards manual (which I couldn't do) instead of a half cab up and three off. He also ended up riding a couple of spots around town that I always imagined he'd destroy if he had a chance. Needless to say this has always been one of my favorite video parts. 0:210:410:44
I use to ride with Him, Meet at the Hut in NA Yeah back in the day miss them times RIP Joe Tiesio , RIP the Clifton Bowl, 92-95 best years of my life...
@codysomething: 1 it's bmx, not football so who cares who's better? 2 this was filmed in 2004-2005, you understand the idea of progression of a sport, right? 3 don't you think lacey and reynolds wouldn't be anywhere near where they are now without scerbo? 4 when it comes to originality and flow, this section would even hold its ground today.
@codymkain This is bullshit, and so is your argument, Reynolds is just different.. I miss the old BMX feel and atmosphere where nobody was better than anybody else and it was just a simple passtime that we could all enjoy.. Also, you don't have to like Bob Scerbo, but you better fucking respect him because the pros you do like were inspired by him and they wouldn't be doing what they are now without his influence.

It’s all about style and Scerbos got it. Not everyone gets it
Always loved that clean 360 at 2:48
Absolutely the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Godfather of perfect street style.
The one and only. I ate at a rough looking Mexican food place in the plaza where the line at 00:24 was filmed. It was a pilgrimage of sorts.
Back in the days when riders use standard casete hub (not coaster)
People say chad kerly is the best at street .. Bob has way more style .. And perfect 360s
dope☆
so good
he rides a cassette like its a freecoaster so sick

He has 4 piece bars..
Possibly a 30 tooth sprocket..
But he doesn't give a fuck! O:

2:18 to 2:30 he rips at my old HS!
