Seems to work great in a controlled environment. Would like to see more in real world applications. I’ve done ball joints on basically every type of car, and something I come across is clearance. There are times you have to rotate the tool 180' just to get the tool on the joint in the small fender area allowed by the car. So far in my experience Snap on makes the best product at half the cost.
Looks very cumbersome to work with. Good luck keeping the the upper and lower adapters in perfect parallel alignment since both swivel independently. With severely rusted ball joints, the adapters will walk away in relation from one another especially if you are using an impact with this. I would gladly put this against my BJP1. Matco, lmk if you guys wanna set up a challenge. I will gladly give up both of my BJP1 sets if you prove me wrong. I got one set that is packaged in the original red plastic case and the other set is packaged in the black plastic case that Snap-On currently sells. Never had a ball joint that I could not press out with the BJP1.
Good luck on a 2500 RAM where you're too long to get an impact on it. You're correct about the swiveling, but if you hit the tool with a hammer they straighten up and drive right in.
Seems so awkward to use. This guys fumbling around with it in perfect demonstration conditions. Imagine in a real world application, this thing would be a nightmare

Negative. This tool makes it way easier to access tight spots. And its the same price as snap on.
This tool saves so much disassembly labor. It's heavy and can be awkward at first. But man it rips!
Give it a year before Astro pneumatic or OTC makes it better for 1/4 of the price.
No point. Mechanics just use astro air hammer to blow a ball joint out or install in 10 seconds.

Cornwell did
That is sick. I need to get one
I'm out of the business now, but applaud you guys for finally competing with snap on here. This looks wonderful.
Anyone use this on smaller cars like Honda’s etc? Only see this being used on trucks so far.

Michael Pinheiro I do kind of agree with you but the traditional style is pretty awkward as well
@@bshaw1979 Not with the BJP1 ball joint press from Snappy
@@styltyte69 yeah and whats the price on that?lol
Michael Pine Gotta love a man looking for perfection.
@@bshaw1979$750
I can dam near punch ball joints out brand new. Let's see him do a gm drw from New York. A 02 silverado
Pretty good tool. Was it just me or did the cameraman have a beef with Brown?
How much
A little overpriced but awsome tool
Does it come with the cup kit or is it separately?
You can buy it either way
Now that's invasion, I will get one eventually
“Who can afford one?” is the problem.
Well... On payments it's not bad
See your Local Cornwell Dealer for this product for much less
I call bullshit , I want to see it work on a 1996 dodge from the coastal region or a Toyota tundra and or Tacoma
Heat and a hammer, same as always, but you won't need 3 hands.
Work better without a matco impact lol
I absolutely love my matco impact.
My 1/2 drive and a 33 mil socket will take unimount semi truck wheels off no struggle.
LOL $1200 dollars ! I would build that first !
Maybe you should . Might make some cash .
Hell it is only $657 according to my rep
Christopher Thrash that’s before you buy the full adapter set.
@@christopherthrash6291 That's just the clamp. No cups.
@@christopherthrash6291 $699, just tool alone, no cups or extras. It's about 1100 with no tax for a basic kit.
There’s some butthurt Scrapiron fanboys out there...
Sucks
To bad your dealers suck in my area
