Hey! I was watching your videos and was wondering if you could give an honest opinion of NAU? Like the pros, the cons, the in betweens. I’m currently a Freshman at U of A and the party atmosphere is a lot, and I’m not really a fan of Tucson in general, but the education has been good and there are tons of research opportunities for my major. But me wanting to transfer to NAU may just be be the qualms that come with being a freshman at any university :)
@@rayofthechill I really like NAU, but it’s very suited to my personality. I actually live in Tucson, and I picked nau because I didn’t like the party vibe of u of a. flagstaff is pretty small and after the first year can be a little boring. We do have good halloweekend frat parties & things like that if you like partying, but definitely not u of a level. It’s honestly about meeting people here and kind of just romanticizing flagstaff, also get ready for snow & icy sidewalks if you decide to transfer lol
@@nobodynosmyrealname Awesome! The environment here is also not really suited for my personality so I was wondering if the environment was more chill on campus at Nau, and it seems like it defiantly is! It’s one thing to visit the campus and get a feel on a tour, but then living in the environment you get a completely new perspective on it, and that’s how I feel about UA after being here for a semester. It was everything I expected but at the same time not at all. There are definitely many pros to being here like the friends I’ve made and the opportunities, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it if the environment does not feel like me. As for academics, would you say that NAU is good for healthcare majors? I’m a pre-nursing major, so apart of my appeal for going to UA was because of the strong pre-med academics at UA. I haven’t heard much about healthcare opportunities at NAU, so it would be nice to get your opinion on it Ps. I seriously miss going on hikes and such, as I don’t have access to a car here in Tucson, so watching your videos with hiking bits look so funnn!
@@rayofthechilli really have no idea about pre-med stuff haha im an econ major, there are some really nice hikes farther off campus by short car ride as well if your friends have cars
that rant at the end was so real

@@rayofthechill also the dorms and meal plans are awful, so live off campus if you can or live in the non nau student housing
