Of all the obscure (at the time anyway) dinosaurs to make, it’s weird they decided to make this one twice (not counting repaints). Someone in that office must have been a huge fan of it, I can’t blame them. Even jp3’s writers loved it, to the point where it was originally going to be the main antagonist before they settled on spinosaurus.
I’m lucky enough to have gotten both this and the lost world version for decent prices. Mine might not be in the greatest condition, but you get what you pay for. Funny sorry about my copy of this figure. I bought it off either eBay or Mercari (I forgot which store) for around $30. It came from kansas, when it arrived I discovered that the seller didn’t actually pack it in a conventional box. They actually used a welches fruit snack box instead, and the packing material inside wasn’t something like bubble wrap, it was Kroger bags. The figure was still fine in the end so I can’t complain, but if that doesn’t scream Kansas I don’t know what else does. It had some paint missing, and it’s original owners initials were on the bottom of one of its feet. So it was obviously a well loved toy.
Yeah, definitelly I prefer much more the Baryonyx sculpt by Mattel over this one. In particular the 'Fallen Kingdom' Roarivore release: I really LOVE those colors on the creature!!! Both Baryonyx from Kenner are REALLY expensive and hard to find, sadly. If I've to pick between this one or 'The Lost World' one (curiosly both from Series 2), I prefer the sculpt of 'TLW' one, but I really LOVE the mixture of green, black and red of this electronic Baryonyx. Whatever, I prefer 'TLW' one.
@@TheDinoWrangler Thank you! I do a mix of Jurassic Park and Godzilla reviews, leaning more on Jurassic stuff. As far as other dinosaur toys I might branch out at some point, maybe once I get through all of Kenners JP figures. Your channel looks pretty awesome, ill give it a sub!
Jurassic Reviews I just use papo and Schliech mostly. Any review involving those figurines I definitely watch! If you do a review and I don’t see it please reach out and tell me!

Did u know the tlw electronic raptor snap jaw has the same gimmick as the this baryonyx?
