I have the Savor One card, and planning on getting one of the venture cards. For now Im only approved for the VentureOne card. Anyone here had gone through the process of upgrading their VentureOne to Venture?
Hey Kevin, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
Hello, I enjoyed this video. Very informative but I have a question. I’ve had my venture one card for 6 months and just recently was approved yesterday for the (VENTURE) card . On my account I have the option to upgrade my venture one to the savor one. In your opinion would you keep the venture one in conjunction with the VENTURE card? Or would you upgrade the VENTURE ONE card to the SAVOR ONE card and pair that with my newly acquired VENTURE card?
So once I get let’s say 75000 welcome miles, can I book travel on 3rd party websites and then use miles to cover those purchases? (The 1st method you showed in the video)?
Can I get "elite status" by transferring my venture x miles to any of the partners' airline, or do all the partner airlines separate tier points (, which elevate one's status) from miles? I know British Airways has different tier points and avios.
@@BuiltNutritionFitness Always thankful for the support, and yes referrals do factor in here to a degree! That said the VX is my main card for general spend, sometimes with taxes, so that probably contributes as well
How do you feel about Capital One rewards? Have you had any redemption highlights or lowlights? 👇
Love Capital One Miles, it turns out they transfer and redeem just as well as Ultimate Rewards points!
@@LukesPointsandMiles In a lot of use cases yes! Though I've heard it's harder to get value for mainly domestic travel. Thanks for the support Luke!
Since all major cards CAN transfer to each airline alliance. How do you guys value one transferrable currency over another??
I get around 600,000 plus miles a year on cvx... gotta use my miles..
Thank you for this breakdown!!!! 😊
You're welcome! Any favorite method?

You can upgrade in the app if you’ve had the card for a few months and are in good standing. I went from venture 1 to venture. It was an easy process
@@joshd5013 hey man, did u get the sign up bonus for venture if u upgrade it?

Personally I would have the SavorOne then VentureX (or in this case Venture) separately
@@KevinYangthat’s actually what the capital one rep said to me. Upgrade the venture one to the savor one and keep that with my venture

Good info
best miles are
- AA
- Alaska
- Aeroplan

Transferring points in these ways won't contribute to the dollars/"miles" you need for elite status unfortunately
@@KevinYang thank you
Bro, how you earning that many miles?
Probably sign up bonuses and referrals from being a CC TH-camr

I cashed out all of mine using the travel eraser feature at 1 cpp
It's a great feature! Have you considered using the miles in other ways?
How come my capitol one limit has not gone up since the day I opened the card ??
So let me get this straight, if I get approved for the savorone and spend $200 at the grocery store , that'll be 20k points to transfer to the Vx ?
How did you come up with 20k point
@1:32 he says $1 = 100 miles, so doesn't that mean $200 is 20k miles?
@@hc2777 thats $1 cash back you earned converting to 100 miles at 1cpp, not 1 dollar spent.
$200 spend at grocery would be 600 miles at 3% cash back
No. You'll get 200x3 =600 points.
@@hc2777 $1 cash back = 100 point
$200 grocery spending at 3% = $6 cash back or 600 point
You forgot to mention that CO allows only 2 cards. Sorry buddy, but too long about obvious things, I thought I will learn something new, but didn't.
I have 3 cards, VX, Savor one and quicksilver. 2 card max is not true.
I currently have 5 active Capital One credit cards.
Wrong. I have 3 cards. Stop spreading misinformation
The 2 card limit is only for subprime borrowers I think.
I have 3 Cap 1 Cards. Stop spreading rumors. I guess you learned something new and not obvious. Sorry buddy.
