hey! i need some advice. so, Im in 8th grade and am currently picking my highschool classes. I'm taking every other class honors, however I'm not so sure in math. I'm taking algebra 1 right now and the high school options for me is Algebra 2 and Honors Algebra 2. I have an 87 in my first marking period for math and an 89 in the second marking period. To take honors I need at least a 90. So, since I am not taking honors Algebra 2, will that affect my chances of getting into Penn State eventually? I know I sound crazy considering i'm only in 8th grade but I've always wanted to go to Penn State since I was little and I worry that this may affect my chances.
Just try your best throughout high school, and the main thing is not tanking your gpa freshmen year like most people do. I’d take normal algebra 2 to help your unweighted gpa and overall understanding to get a foundation of math.
I currently attend Penn State (entering my 3rd year this fall). You will be fine with taking the normal algebra 2 (as the other commenters suggest). It will help your unweighted GPA which most colleges do see on your high school transcript anyway. I would suggest taking math classes beyond what your school may require as having a strong foundation in math will help with the math placement exam that you will have to take.
knowing all the details about the types, quality, characteristics of residential housing product at PSU, where do I start with this rushed, inadequate video (no offense to the staffer or student who hosted it)? Very poor representation of the breadth and details of housing at PSU. Do better.
