Always great to see Andy on with you, Johnny! The A7X guys have always been good to BVB. Hope to see the two of you do a proper tour, together, in the future.
Bleeders video is a MASTERPIECE. Great song. The Phantom Tomorrow is one of my favorite albums. Andy is very talented and such a great guy. Wonderful interview. TY.
I think being able to love and respect people that you don’t agree with and being able to allow for more than one opinion is one of the best things that has come with age for me
I cannot tell you how much it delights me to listen to a conversation in which someone speaks so passionately about something that they love. Cheers!❤❤
I love how much Andy love Sweeney Todd, it's still to this day my favorite movie, I'm so happy he tied into this theme, this whole interview was so good, always a pleasure listening to Andy's interviews, he's so relatable and wholesome
Really great interview! It's really special to hear you talk as an artist to another artist, that's something you don't see much of in interviews. It brings forth so many interesting questions only another artist would think to ask.
Andy meticulously addressing those people who have associated him with a problematic person is another reason why I like his attitude so much. Just because someone is working with somebody else on some capacity does not mean they share the same worldviews. A great interview!
Yeah, they are still sharing the stage, money, platform, audience, and promotion with de-facto Nazis though which is far more impactful and consequential than whether they agree or not. Take out a racist, genocide-endorsing fascist w/ consent issues (Ronnie Radke) on tour, make them more famous, and being like "haha but I don't necessarily agree with them" doesn't do shit for the damage done.
Great interview! We used to have a Scallywag Tag location on the east side of Cincy that could have used some of those anonymous glowing reviews to stay afloat (pun intended). Took my son there for many birthday parties-so fun. As Andy would say, but I digress. Thanks, Johnny, for the great content; really enjoyable with the balance of deep conversation and silliness 👍🏻
Bring back Jinxx and Jake!! Would love to hear from them too! Loved the pod, really hoping Andy does come back :) also Johnny! Come back to Chicago with the band!! Loved yall last summer!
I quit smoking cold turkey during the pandemic after James Pumphrey had a heart attack. Btw It was super easy. I guess when ur done, ur done. Don't miss it. Also, I think Finn Mckenty made the "here's the thing" popular.
Andy is right: Andy's changed in many good ways after his "Andy Sixx" days, and his guitarists have become very impressive from a technical standpoint, but their music still does kinda blow. BvB went from doing derivative anthem metalcore aimed at 10 year old wannabes appropriating the scene to making "omg epic" stale repetitive movie trailer anthems for would-be tik tok tweens that predictably don't know what to grow into. He's cool though. I'm sure they're all great people now. but Sweeney Todd themed metalcore EP? That's exactly what you'd expect from them, and it makes my stomach turn. While A7x is riding 10 different genres and writing veiled lyrics about the inherently corrupt genuine ancient yahwist paradigm, these dudes are always on some "I want to make a super dark, but ePiC Teen Titans Raven rated R metalcore record 10% verse 90% hook" bullshit. It's like, my brother in crist, pick up a book. I'm fairly sure that when this dude talks about being Misfits and Kiss, he's talking about Michael Graves Misfits too. Michael Graves Misfits is exactly the type of insipid, thoughtless derivative music that BvB embodies in juxtaposition to what everyone like me actually wants to hear, which is Danzig Misfits. But to the BvB fan, Michael Graves Misfits sounds the same but newer or better.
I don’t think you watched the interview. Neither of them care. Go make some art yourself and spread positivity dude. That’s better than whatever this rant you have is
@@alexxscarlett but i love how he called this out exactly. he legit said someone comments section will say something nice about him like but say his band sucks hahahaha

Love ya Chris! 🤟🏽
You can even hear some A7X inspiration in their formula. I guess that's why I love em both.

Finn McKenty uses “here’s the thing” in soooooo many of his videos lol
Always love seeing Andy on this podcast. He is just so real.

Love this so much. Andy is so wise & eloquent. So many great points here. And I love Bleeders.

Andy is such a cool guy 🐦⬛
What a handsome dude Andy is.
Did anybody else hear the subtle “nobody” being said from nobody at 38:29
He is like at age 19, ur full of so much piss and vinegar! 😂He is sooo fucking adorable
Here's the thing was probably what made me like the "wrestler" persona of Andy lol
praying we get the scally wag tag live show 🙏 many bday parties there as a kid 😂
Andy and johnny wow
As far as the vein thing & nursing, as a nurse myself, I think it's largely bc men with excellent veins also tend to be in good shape/muscular.

@@BuryTheVergil Which is why I said "Andy is right", I was confirming what Andy said.
