Dalai Lama, and probably the common Tibetans in Tibet too, are not seeking for independence but want more power in administering their own region. While it is true that Tibet is officially known as Tibet Autonomous Region, most administration matters are appointed and controlled by the central government.

Tibet is now on the path of development because China has built a high speed semi bullet train, an advanced international airport, high-tech schools, state of the art hospitals and also uplifted farmers from poverty.
What has this hypocrite done for Tibet? Where has those millions of dollars of donation disappeared that he has been garnering for all these decades?
Ask local resident Tibetans how happy they are with China whereas India has not been able to equip Arunachal Pradesh with aforementioned amenities and infrastructure despite being "the largest democracy".

The CIA never funded the Dalai Lama personally. They funded Chushi Gangdruk, the Tibetan resistance fighters, by training & equipping them to disrupt the PLA & ultimately gather intelligence for the U.S., unbeknownst to the Tibetans.
The United States funded training and arms for the guerrillas in Tibet prior to the uprising and for several years following. From 1959 to 1964, Tibetan guerrillas were secretly trained at Camp Hale by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
That funding ended in 1972 during the Nixon administration when the US & China began to make nice & end the Cold War. One of the requests from China was to cease funding of Chushi Gangdruk.
This little known piece of world history is one of the most interesting stories to emerge from post WWII. There are some good books written by former CIA handlers that detail the program and the intense heartbreak that those men who dedicated themselves to saving their country from Chinese interference experienced when they were told to end their cause. The Dalai Lama had to beg them through letters & messengers to give up their fight.

President Xi Sir is really a good hearted person who can understand and realize about Tibet as well as India...
Soon or later China will be one of the best friend Nation of India, is of sure. No doubt in that at all.
Tibet is an independent nation only as per history and is known to the world very well.
But why India need to fight for Tibet. It is non of our business at all.
Tibet if want to independent, let America help or let Australia help or let Canada help, these are very rich powerful nations...
Better Tibet people not to expect India to work for their independence!!!
Already India helped a lot. to Tibetans! ... That itself is too much only. If spirituality is powerful with Tibet then let Tibetans fight with it... Will see the result...
It is my question is why Tibetans are lazy for to fight for their nation independence???
All Tibetans are traveling all over the world like free birds! Good and Great! Main is in the name of Spirituality!
My other question is why Tibetans are facing independence problem from long back? What karma is behind it???
Tibetans migrated to India and re introduced indianedicine system with a mixture of other systems of medicine copied just like China use to copy and re introduced to. India as tibetan medicine or what!!! Difficult to understand?!

Tibetan medicine practice is follow up old Indian medicine practice.. never once took one credit. Where ever you visit and ask about the history. It will tell you knowledge were pass down from India. As for relationships. India and Tibet has much better relationships than China throughout the history. To Tibet, India is land of Guru. It’s teacher student relationships…
It took India I think 200 years to get independent from British right… no one was lazy during that time nor lost hope.
We don’t go to China to fight. Our leader were greatly influenced by Mahatma Gandhi non violence movements. We are raising issue in all the platform to get support to recognise Tibet as Independent countries. The land we stay right now( India) is giving us place to stay but not yet officially recognised Tibet as Independent nation. India has sign treaty that recognise Tibet as part of China. When our own neighbor nation has fail to recognise as Tibet as Separate nation as China. It’s difficult to convince rest of world. Tibet is separate nation. We are asking Help to India. Not to go fight with China. But to correct the old treaty… and declare that Tibet is actually Independent Nation ….and separate from China.
As for Tibetan going around, just like you. We too want better life and has to feed our family. So we go around to work.

He has been speaking about autonomy for years, and he had already said many times in public, for years, that Tibetans aren't seeking "independende". But China doesn't really give good autonomy to anyone. And China isn't really unique here. Even India snatched the autonomy of J&K, but our states already constitutionally have a very large autonomy than the provinces of China.

    • @shyamranger
      @shyamranger 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Tibet was part of China from Yuan dynasty. At that time China gave them enough autonomy. And the time when China was attacked by British, Japan and many western countries on early 19th century.... This Dalal lama shook hand with British and gave some parts of Tibet to British India. If you don't know real history at least don't fake it.
