My 2 centavos
1. We lack the physical capability for most sports in the olympics especially in the sports we personally enjoy in the country like Basketball.
2. We lack access to facilities for a wider variety of sports thus we have no athletes for most of the games
3. For what sports we are good at like Boxing, we lack the finances to train the athletes not only for the games but whole year round and this discourages athletes from wanting to dedicate themselves to their sport. Also there is not enough compensation for such athletes
But i do hope we continue to make efforts to produce world class athletes who can will in the international arena.
And on a personal note, i hope they include E-sports in the Olympics soon. I really really hope they do.
