This is by far the best HP rocket jig I have seen - ever! Love to build one myself...

Man, I've seen some pretty complicated rigs. This is awesome. You gonna post a how-to video?

Build them with a commercial aspect in a kit form for sale....cookie cutter kit. You could/would sell quite a few. I will buy more than 1.

I am interested, do you have a three fin jig also?

What is the aversion to pencil lines on a tube that is going to get primered, sanded, and painted? That being said, this is a great setup for quickly attaching fins. The finished product looked awesome man.

Could you please make another video showing the complete jig (in frame) and all it's parts with an explanation of how it was built? This is one of the best jigs I have seen and I would love to make myself one. Thank you for sharing.

I Love it! I've been looking for a rocket fin jig for sometime. Like you said, the commercial jigs are not worth buying. I'm in the process of building a jig myself, but I might have to change my plans now after seeing yours. I wish I could of seen the top the rocket in the video to see how you secured the tube and how you plumbed and squared it. Thanks for the video!

Phil Ham My bad video cut out that part by accident. On the base of the jig I used a 1 inch slice of a body tube connector. I glued it to the base perfectly centered. When you slip your rocket tube down on it, your tube will stand straight and perpendicular to the base.I used all thread, bolted to the base and a 4 1/2" aluminum washer on top of the rocket tube with a large nut lightly snugged. Look at 3.19 min. on the vid and you will see all thread and washer. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more info.

maybe this is a dumb question, but which part is the jig?

No question is ever dumb. This is how we gain knowledge. To answer your question, the jig is the fixed wooden base with the attached wooden uprights.
