    ► Recipe:
    "Fab Frenchies Chef Hanna's Feast:
8-10 pounds of meat, ground beef and ground pork are great choices because they are not common allergy sources but choose your protein based on your dogs needs.
Cook with 3 tbsp canola oil
*Drain meat of excess grease after cooking & adding other ingredients
    3 bags each of frozen:
    12 oz peas
    12 oz carrots
24 oz bags of broccoli, green beans, cauliflower and spinach.
Let thaw on counter- no need to cook the vegetables before adding to cooked meat mixture.
Add 3 cans kidney beans and 3 cans black beans (drain & rinse)
Mix together and mix in 3 tbsp of coconut oil
    2 teaspoons Iodized salt
Cool and then freeze in ziplock freezer bags.
Make a half box instant mashed potatoes in a pot. Cool and put in fridge.
Each dog gets big scoop mash taters with one cup meat and veg mix on top. In morning and And evening put one 1 tbsp of Wholistic Canine Vitamin Suppliment you can find on Amazon.
The potatoes act as the filler instead of corn that bag dry dog food has which is an allergic for a lot of frenchies. You will need to feed a larger amount in bowl because unlike dry food it doesn't expand in the belly, so keep an eye on your dogs weight if it looks like it may lose weight give bigger bowls full or less if it starts gaining. You will never have a finicky eater and will never have to worry about dog food recalls.
    Reminder:
If you normally feed 1 cup of kibble, increase to 1.5 cups per feeding. Adjust accordingly for your dog's normal diet"

Did that multivitamin has any probiotic? Why did you choose turkey? I usually do lamb but that's probably gonna so rear to find and mega expensive.

My dog eats only human food (not inclueding things that are bad for dogs) dinner leftovers and boiled chicken meat (with guts and vegetables) I have never fed her pet food (when I tried once she looked at me with dissappointment and didn't touch it). She is fit, and healthy, 15 years old and still kicking strong, my vetenarian is always impressed by her shape and he knows her since she was a puppy so he knows how old she is.
But then again, she is a mongrel from Polish countryside so she is no delicate flower haha. :D
Also she is a medium size dog so she is lucky for not having any heart or bone problems, or any genetic deseases or disorders like so many pure breeds or just less lucky doggs in general.
I still love her very much and hope that she still has many years to live. :D

Thank you for sharing this recipe and making this video. I made it and our puppy was not digesting the peas after a few batches I stopped adding them. We have added calf liver from the butcher that we cut up into cubes after we cook it. We don't add fillers and he eats 1 cup at 8AM and 1 Cup at 8PM. On the weekends we add 1 over easy egg on top. I make a smaller weekly batch. THANKS, no more tear stains or snoring for our frenchie with this recipe. For supplements we add the vitamins, omegas and probiotics oooo and a supplement to reduce allergies.

Hi Laura !! I am so excited to share with you that this recipe was a total success for my little frenchie. Jax has had tummy issues since we brought him home and just didn’t feel right to keep trying kibble when there are much healthier and holistic options. I love this recipe because its good enough for us to eat !! He’s my best friend so I’ve gotta feed him like so!! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. A healthy frenchie is a happy frenchie ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

My 1 and a half year old frenchie Mckayla is experiencing some issues with her skin, sores and flaking. I usually feed her 1/2 grain free kibbles and carrots/broccoli and either chicken or gound beef. Although I admit, she also gets a good dose of table scraps. I try my best to feed her the best but now I see I can do better. Thank you so much for this! Going to do this for her this weekend!

My 11yo Frenchie just passed in August of 2017. RIP Lilly! Anyway, I can attest to a diet like this. I started feeding her a meal very similar to this, without any guidelines such as this (I got her in 2006). I really just used common sense as to what she needed. Their dietary needs really are pretty similar to our own. Lilly's skin, coat and overall health was very lack luster when she was younger and a very expensive breeder recommended kibble (Royal Canine). After years of terrible skin allergy and worrying myself sick about her..... I started her on beef, chicken (rotated), brown rice, yams, carrots and peas. Sometimes a little yogurt (but it gave her terrible gas lol). Not only did she actually start getting excited at mealtime, but her allergies almost completely went away, her coat was shiny and soft and her overall health and energy level improved 10 fold. Mable is adorable and so lucky to have a mom like you! Thank you for being a responsible Frenchie owner. They are pretty high maintenance, but they are completely worth it!

Antihistamine everyday which I hate... The vet recommend a hypoallergenic diet kibble, Royal canine funnily enough but they all seem to have rice, corn or some other grain... So I will give this a try as she can eat turkey....hopefully I can source the vitamin powder in the uk and maybe I can try goats milk yogurt or maybe a coconut or soya xx Mable is beautiful by the way, she is the same colour as my Darcy xx

Oh my goodness!!!! My dog is allergic to all of that also plus soy, beef, venison and turkey! He isn’t allergic to corn or duck! I feed my dog a brand called zignature! Check it out it’s usually a one source of protein and has no grains or soy or corn!

Okay I know you may be new at this , I’m starting to introduce my Frenchie to raw , I mix with his kibble as of now . He eats about 1 cup of kibble does that mean I give him a cup of kibble then the half raw and veggies

Laura pls Help! My 3month old frenchie is vomiting everyother day! Is that a sign of pancreatitis? Shes been to the vet they say its gastritis..they gave her meds it worked for a while, Im thinking of ditching the kibble and feeding her real food. Maybe she cant stand the kibble? She ate Royal Canin from the start.

Hello! Just wondering if you could tell me how much to give to a three-month-old puppy?

    • @lulusketches
      @lulusketches  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

hi! I would recommend looking at how much dry food your puppy would require based on its weight (you can look this up online) and then for this fresh recipe, take that number of cups and multiply it by 1.5 to 2. Dry kibble expands in the belly and this fresh food does not, so a dog can eat more of the fresh food. Also puppies eat more than fully grown dogs so don't be surprised if it's a pretty big amount! :)

All of my dogs get different food. I have 4 yorkies two with kidney problems and one of them has a heart problem. One with stomach problems and one with problems to fat. I have long wondered if I should make food for them in this way. Sometimes they get picky and refuse to eat the vet prescribed food they all have. Maybe I should try it.
