Just a few little tips i wanted to add : you can automatically pick up big bunches of resources from the ground by holding interact key, so instead of just picking one thing up at a time you can pick up a massive amount in one press... Also, there is a ground slam attack you can perform by jumping off height and pressing attack mid air to do an AOE attack on the ground.
I know the video wasn't about base building but it did inspire my design, thanks for the video!
Of course man
You never gave the most important gameplay tip: Sprint+Jump around the map everywhere you go. You will make your stamina last 80% longer. You're welcome.
Also if you don't already know this for some reason, you can roll in mid-air to clear bigger gaps when you get into The Mines and deeper. Might save your life if you fall!
Also don't forget to utilize the targeting system. It REALLY helps with shit enemies like bats and wolves that back up a lot. TARGET THEM (Middle Mouse wheel default)
god damn man these are amazing tips thank you, i just figured out the sprinting one yesterday but had no idea about rolling mid air lmao thats awesome
freaking awesome tips@@WestCoastWarriorr
Be the first content creator to put them in a video! They are definitely helpful tips, I haven't seen anyone mention it yet. Been playing with 3 friends and having a blast messing around together (These might get patched one day so use em while you can! Lol)@@NovaGamingX4
I never would have even thought to try rolling in midair! 😆🤯
In the Lower deeps and just now found out about the durins lamps although I unlocked them a long time ago. Wish I would have known repairing them sooner would have saved me alot of time. I was crafting bridges over the shadow and that didnt always work
Damn brother I hadn't even gotten there yet in this video I don't think though it's been a hot minute so tbh I don't remember
I think the whole meter in the bottom left is your light meter. The right side means that you are in light and the arrow shows how much, and the left side means darkness. I haven't found any actual meter that indicates the time of day other than it just saying it in the bottom left.
Thank you for the video. My wife and I just found this game and are having a blast playing it together. One question that I do not see addressed anywhere - what is the buff for studying scrolls/books good for? I cant seem to find that anywhere?
@@jasonlouis697 In case you haven’t figured it out yet, it gives a chance to not spend any material when building something. Not guaranteed but it’s pretty frequent.
You're welcome! It was a ton of fun when I was playing it. I'm honestly not sure brother I'm sorry
Es hat mir sehr geholfen danke
Of course man
Where do you recomend to make your main base??? What areas to make fast travel points?
You can make fast travel points later once you unlock or have black diamonds anywhere you want. You just have to make a cheap Hearth to do so.
I have noticed in this game that any area that is large enough for your liking can make a good spot as a main base. Since you can place fast travel points your self so really I would say it's based on your tastes.
A lot of videos don't really mention the freedom you actually have in building bases. People actually think it's restrictive, but it's not. While yes, you do need to put down Hearths to out line a perimeter where you can build, they come in different sizes. You can build Hearths at any time as long as you have the resources. If you have a perimeter from a Hearth overlapping another perimeter, that area will recognize the inventory in the chest from the other perimeter as well. So overlapping perimeters to make a massive base is great
Build multiple towers with stair cases that you can make a bridging system in the air leading from one tower to another, etc.
If you want to mine out more resources you can use your same character on another world you make. Head to an area you know that has what you are looking for then go back to your original world. Do this if you can't bother waiting for things to respawn a day after from resting or in some cases some things take a few days of resting.
how do you save progress when logging off
i think it saves automatically but there's no cloud savve
Starting bow is really good against spiders.
fr
When did you unlock the shanor ingots
Honestly I didn’t my friend did so I don’t know
Some Orcs drop them in the lower deeps. I think you get them in the upper halls but I havent gotten there yet, if you look in the recipes section it'll show discovered resources even though you haven't unlocked them yet.
Love this game, can you build more than one base 👍
Yes!
could i run trhis game on a all in one HP computer?
MAYBE tbh
Dwarves use swords?
apparently
very nice build base. i struggle with building roofs and floors
Thanks mate
