Dear goodness! From 0:16 to 0:30 and to the end, I swear when they were all singing with no background sound , it almost felt like they were a chorus of Angels! Divine ! ! If someone had told me that I would get goosebumps just listening Acapella of intro or games opening songs , I would never had believe it.
@@jponz85 no. It's not that hard to do this as a chorus in one go. Everyone really does not understanding how basic music works. Have you ever seen a live choir or Acapella group? There's literally no need to pre record this. Live music dying is at fault for people being this dumb
Props to Young-hoon (the tenor) for nailing the high note without falsetto. I have seen choirs perform this piece and most if not all of the tenor soloists falsetto the high note.

I revisit this frequently, and it makes me choke up every time. Funny thing, even though I grew up playing Smash, I never owned Brawl, so I only ever heard this opening in trailers and random videos. So I don't even really have a nostalgic connection to it. But I react so viscerally that it feels like I do. I think there's just something magical about well arranged choral music that can fill you with memories and emotions out of nowhere.
You've probably experienced a bunch of the fan made content that spawned from it. Kinda like with the game TF2, there's a lot of folk who haven't played it but have seen the SFMs and GMod videos that they've become attached to it despite not experiencing the game. Think back to the early Machinima days, those were filled with fan Smash videos and series like Smashtasm that you'd regularly encounter here on TH-cam. Honestly I'm having a nostalgia trip just thinking back to it

This is definitely your masterpiece, deserves more views and overall love and I think it's really underated, it's really hard to sing that well with so many emotion, you really encapsulated the feeling the original song creates, everyone has the same protagonism, the two girls makes the main voices and the high-pitched instruments, the guy in the middle makes the low-pitched instruments, accompaniments and some solo parts, the guy in the back left makes the percussion and sing in the chorus part and finally the guy in the back right makes accompaniments and some solo parts. This is truely unbelievable, I'm speechless, really well done!!!
I love that each of them highlights the colour blue in different ways - blue bowtie, blue necklace, blue regular tie, blue "pocket square" and blue streaks in her hair - all exactly the same shade of blue.

This is the first video I've seen from these guys, and I subscribed immediately! In just a short time I've watched several of their videos now. But it's crazy how this is one if their lowest viewed videos, as it's an AMAZING showcase of each singer's voice and range and each of them got a solo here! They're all incredible and 0:56 was so spot on and beautuful that it gives me chills and got a little teary from nostalgia. Not even the just the game itself when it came out but hearing this took me back to the announcement trailer we got at E3 followed by the Snake trailer. And EVERYDAY how we all waited following for new updates on the website to see what content was planned. I've never seen and experienced such hype for a game at that time. And I just relived all of that agaon while viewing this video. Thank you. Video games are so great
