Other than exitting the menu by holding both buttons for 2 seconds, is there a menu back button, so you can step back to the start of the menu and select the next thing. The only way I can navigate to a second item after modifying a first item is to exit the menu completely then reenter... basically a 4 second opeartion just to go back to the main menu.
Yes thats true.. we have to go out to main menu and then again select the required option.. but since most of these are one time settings and doesn't need a regular change I am kind of ok with it 😊
The same comes in my bike as well.. that's the system calculating the range basis the fuel filled.. Versys show the range basis long term mileage hence it takes some time.. few other bikes shows range basis the real time mileage.
If you have the the KTRC on level 1 or 2 does it flash the KTRC light on the right portion of the screen the entire time you are applying any throttle? My bike it still in the 600 mile break in period if that helps.
For traction control no light flashes.. just the KTRC 1 or 2 or off is visible on the left top of the screen whole time.. can you share a pic of what you are referring to
Whats your height and do u face any tip-toing problem? Is there any solution to reduce the seat height without scrapping the seat foam? Do u face any problem in daily commuting? I am 5.7 height and i want to use for my daily office commute as well. Want to know your views. Waiting for your response.
Hey bro my height is 5"10 and yet I can't keep my both feet completely down.. although there is no problem in tip-toing. Seat height is definitely a negative point in versys.. there is one low seat option available as accessory on Kawasaki India website but it needs to be ordered I guess.. not sure on the pricing. With ur height I think you should be able to manage with some difficulty in peak traffic.. not because of ur height but the placement of the foot pegs which touches ur legs everytime you bring it down.. thats another issue with Versys
In terms of Superbikes the Kawasaki network is excellent and you will find a service centre in all metro and mini metro cities. Spare part is also not an issue
versys is any day a better option.. better performance, better availability of service centre and spare parts. TRK has a bad power to weight ratio.. not to forget the reliability of Versys.

ABS is not switchable on versys.. you can do that for traction control though..
