While I already knew about these, the pressure plate trick that i learned only just recently is very useful in camps that don't have access to dirt to use the old methods, it even works great in shelters. As for the floating trick with the camp, this pairs very nicely with the fausnacht balloons, or any atom shop ceiling fans you may have to make things float. If you want an object to float without being tied to something on the ground, float a conduit pipe up to the height that you want to reach, then place another item ontop of a conduit pipe then snap that to the floating one, you now have some flying objects that don't rely on something being on the ground beneath them!

I have been using the ground in my regular camp and the weight bench in my shelters. I plan to try drop merging using the pressure plate the next time I am on and I have a feeling it will probably replace both of my other drop merge techniques. Ohh... while standing on the trap plate... I was trying for like quarter an hour to get some bloody herbs on my doctors shack last night and I got so bloody frustrated XD Thanks for the guide friend.
Thanks so much for the video! I always use the ground to merge & wondered how people were building merged items in their shelters. The pressure plate seems much easier, as well as dropping items a more predictable amount. 😃
For the pressure plate, instead of standing on it you can also just power it up. Sometimes it is buggy but as long as the pressure plate has the green light on it should work without standing on it.
The advanced power connectors plan is the plan u need to learn in order to craft the pressure plate. Easiest place to find it is at the whitesprings resort as a few of the vendor bots inside sell that plan. there are also a few other train stations vender bots that sell it. a quick google search on the plan location will tell u all possible locations. good luck 🍀

You have to trick it with a shelf so stack a few together until it connects. Some shelfs are to short but ones like the bookcase work well.
