My speedometer wire is broken from top end and stuck in speedometer. Mechanic is saying it's stuck and not pulling out. He is asking to change the full speedometer. Is it advisable? What can be done?

Yes it is better to replace the speedometer, sometimes there is no way to take that stuck cable out, and in the process the speedometer can also get damaged.

You did not change ball bearings you changed only steel balls. Pls tell the symptoms if ball bearing in handle bar goes bad thanks.

The main symptom of bad handlebar bearings is that the handlebars do not turn smoothly but seem to click into a series of notches as they turn.

There is a big difference, 1/4 is only 6.3mm whereas 1/2” is 12.7 mm which means more stronger and more torque. 1/4” can break more easily.
