Idk, both versions are good. In fact, I like Return Trip even more, but it would be great, if original Fly From Here would be uploaded on TH-cam. Horn is a very cool musician, but people shouldn't forget Benoît David. He is a nice singer and the true fan of Yes.
@@jonanderson695 Yes lists him as alumni on their website. I think it has something to do with the rights to the music. I’ve been doing a deep dive on Yes the past two weeks listening to every studio album and a few just aren’t on the Yes official TH-cam or streaming services I assume due to licensing issues? Talk, Keys to Ascension I and KeyStudio aren’t on the official channel either.

The thing is, half of a year ago I decided to write a review on EVERY YES SONG on Vkontakte (it's russian analog of twitter or facebook), and in my reviews I put link for the songs I talk about. And when I reached Fly From Here, the fact that not every song from the original version was on yt, was a trouble. So I decided upload it myself x)
@@jonanderson695 every YES song. Wow. I just wrote an article on my blog, just for fun, ranking all 21 studio albums and I ranked each song on each album with a comment on them. That was fun, but it was a lot of work, especially since there were around 8 albums that I still hadn't heard, lol.

You know, like songs from YesYears, Yesstory, Yes Family albums etc. There are a lot of songs. I don't think It has the reason to show these review to you, because they're all in russian, but I can check your ranking on Yes' albums, if you don't mind :o
This is a such a great album!! I also love the 90215 album and the underated Big Generator album. Maybe because I am from another age category. I was born in 1969 and I love the 80's. So I grow up with Jon Anderson and I love Jon & Vangelis, Jon Anderson solo and Yes. So thank you Jon for be an important part of my musical live.
That's a honor to have such hard-core fans in my comment section, I was born only in 2003 :D Btw, Jon & Vangelis is the top-tier duet. Especially their "The Friend Of Mr. Cairo" LP. That's some fantastic music
I love all of these tracks on the album also for the cover art by roger dean, and i think this cover is the most beautiful by roger dean. Even it's too late to know the album. Trevor Horn is great musician but benoit David is the great singer for the band. Unfortunately he was no longer in a band.
I agree, my man. My favorite Roger Dean's cover is still Relayer's sleeve, but green forest image in Dean's style really looks amazing! And I too think David needs some love😭😭😭
I just listened to The Quest and it left me wishing Trevor Horn would come back to Yes. At this point even Jon Anderson would be a great addition to the band.
In fact, I liked The Quest (expecially Leave Well Alone and Music To My Ears), but you are absolutely right. Why Yes can't get Anderson or Wakeman back? They're like the most important musicians in Yes career
