Digging the setup. Trying it this weekend. How come no 100mm macro for the shot? Did you use it on the tomato slicing clip? Debating on ordering the lens and just trying to figure out where i'll use it.

Great little video. I've mostly been a product photographer up until this point but as a foodie I really want to add food photography to my repertoire and your videos are honestly great for inspiration and I like the cross over between the two niches. I just need to up my food styling game while I compile a food portfolio.

It's been awhile since last your post, XD.
Hi - could you recommend a battery powered turntable for food video clips thats reliable and easy to set up for video. I can see theres plenty of cheap ones on Amazon plus at the other end of the scale there the Edelkrone headone, but it seems expensive and overkill just to slowly turn some food.
I use the Edelkrone HeadOne so I might be overkill.
what did you add with the paintbrush to make it shine? oil or melted butter?

The burger is very nice but I think the knife is superfluous.

On location I cannot have the pc with myself so trying to connect the dslr directly to the tablet. My 5d mk II doesn't have wifi so looking for a cable or more. Do you have maybe some suggestion?
Nice and all but the cheese should have been more melted (could have easily achieved it using a microwave), and even more importantly, you DON'T put lettuce on a bacon cheeseburger.

How do you stop too much light on the background with that big fill light... Is the distance and fall off light the key?
Yeah distance and it's at a low power, but there is some light on the background.
