I get it Mike. I have beaten every fucking Souls game there is and I would 100% say KH2 is harder than all of them mechanically. It has so many mechanics that all lead together and makes this game so hard in points. And you don't really expect it, which can make the experience quite overwhelming on first playthrough. It just goes so fast and you have so many moves and systems and the desperation move system is one of the most infuriating things I have seen in video games. But it is also a very rewarding gameplay experience where you geniuenly feel yourself getting better the whole way through. It never plateaues. It geniuenly is a game that just gets harder and harder the whole way through. And the post game. Holy shit. Some GOAT bosses in this game.
I dont know how Mikes made it this far. KH1 was a fun game in spite of some bad boss fights. KH2 and 3 are absolute snoozers. David Cage levels of up-your-own-butt story telling. I have no idea how this was considered the peak of action RPG combat by anyone after 2006. Aside from being a small child the first time you played it and how "cool" it was for you to mash the same four attacks in these battles that go on far too long. But you could always grind for hours because thats peak gameplay! Nostalgia really is a heck of a drug.
You need to play at critical mode to appreciate the deep combat system otherwise it’s just button mashing. Also the optional bosses are some of the best in ARPG genre.
Mike my guy. I think we should go ahead and get you the mod that lets you change the difficulty. There’s no reason to beat your head against the wall trying to get through some of the tougher battles. Put it on easy and just enjoy the game.
Mike take some time and grind levels in timeless river (mickey’s castle). Level up your forms there and catch up a little bit. There is a 4 room loop that makes it easy to grind. The game only gets harder from here
Mike has got to be trolling with not using the AP ability menu correctly and never checking items or adding armor to Sora or weapons to D and G, no way this man is serious lol, Mike is the man but I “hate watch” this stream lol

I love you playing this game. The gameplay is better but I understand your issue with the story not being as engaging as KH1 so far
