We need more of these business style dramas, this and the Onedin Line were both brilliant. This how was actually referred to as ‘the Onedin Line with wings”
Apparently the writer had plans for 4 series up to the 1960s, with later aircraft like the Stratocruiser and Constellation being featured instead of the Dakota.
Excellent!!! Proper TV from the good old days!!! I loved this series when I was a kid...I even bought the Theme Tune on vinyl (which I still have and just played) Thanks for uploading...I'm going to enjoy watching this!!!! :)

Can’t believe it’s 39 years ago tonight it was first shown, great series...I feel old!
I watched this as a teenager, great show. Shame they didn't make the second planned series. Really enjoyed seeing this again.

Came across this gem accidentally on the old KTEH in San Jose in the early 90s. Good to see it again.
Theres nothing quite as comforting as Roy "the wig" Marsden
Great show, such a pity it was cut short
Any Pathfinders fans out there? Wish there were more episodes to watch online!
Now available on DVD from Network DVD. I'm getting a copy for my birthday. Can't wait.
This theme would've been good for ITV's coverage of the World Cup in the 80s. You can just imagine clips of Maradona and Zico running across to this!
Loved this. Is it ever to be aired again ?
is this the 1 that was filmed at rufforth
