00:00 Shoestring Wave Pocket Squares
The Fort Belvedere wave collection pocket squares are special in the sense that they're asymmetrical. They're crafted from 100% plain white Italian linen. These pocket squares have a very sophisticated wave pattern that makes your pocket square look very casually and effortlessly put together. This is the quintessential pocket square for people who aspire to a nonchalant outfit with Sprezzatura.
Overall, we have four colorways -- the red, green and blue shoestring ones are paired with a plain white 100% Italian linen. The brown shoestring one, we pair with a cream colored linen which is a slightly more coarser weave and we call it the small handcrafted linen. We also have other pocket squares in an even larger weave which is called handcrafted linen.
The shoestring is carefully embroidered by an artisan with a very old school machine. It's very solid and durable and the look is extremely refined and elegant yet at the same time relaxed. Personally, I love to wear them in a crown fold but they also look great in a plain TV fold. You can pull up the edges a little bit and it is just always very classic looking but you only notice at second glance that the edges aren't straight. The Fort Belvedere pocket squares are perfect for someone who already has the basics covered and who wants to stand out from a crowd in a subtle and sophisticated way.
