the very beginning sounds exactly like part of his ending from sf alpha 2, clever capcom. Love this remix to his old alpha 2 theme too, glad they used that instead of his alpha 3 theme, which sucked in my opinion. This will always be charlies real theme. Man i love the nostalgia this brings me!

They did Charlie wrong in story mode man...why would you hype up bringing him back after years of being dead and absent from street fighter just for that? That was disappointing, he should have been the one to kill Bison. I enjoyed story mode but that, along with the fact that all of a sudden Karin is a main character and is bossing all the veterans around,even tho she only appeared in ONE game before this as sakura's stuck up snotty nosed rival, really put me off.
Yeah the story is...well...pretty bad. There is literally no telling who's the main character due to karin got most of the gameplay and leadership, rashid ended up being the one who actually saved the day. Necali is nothing more than a punching bag and Ryu defeated bison with the sacrifice of Nash. The script is indeed messed up, but this is the first time street fighter get an actual story mode so we can't really blame them for did it horrible. First time for everything after all, despite there're still some plot holes even after their attempts at covered it
I still doubted Charlie would defeat Bison, hell, the trailer was too one-sided, though they used Nash terribly, he was better suited for, like saving Guile or fighting alongside him or something, but they didn't even talk.

I have a theory, but I'm not sure if it would make sense to the fans who pay more attention to the Street Fighter lore than me. Remember how it was confirmed that Charlie Nash's status is unknown meaning that there is a 50/50 chance that he is alive or dead? Remember how in the story mode Nash had the ability to absorb energy and he absorbed some of M. BISON'S psycho energy to weaken him? I was thinking that maybe while he was making his heroic "sacrifice" and absorbed some of Bison's psycho energy, he probably managed to not just steal some of his energy, but also some of his power. And remember how M. Bison kept coming back from the dead and it was because of his psycho power magic thing? I was thinking that maybe Nash could return the same way Bison did (or at least in a similar way). Again, I'm not sure if it is plausible, or if I'm just spitting out nonsense, but I'm willing to say that there is a chance for Nash to return, and it could be like that. IMO the animated movie had a pretty good plot, better pacing and less narmy moments, though a lot of the characters only appeared for like 2 minutes.

Yeah, you need to reevaluate that because that's clearly your opinion which is one that most folks would laugh at because Alpha 3's music is often considered underrated while Shimomura's tunes while iconic are being overused and kinda tiring for some folks.
SF music ain't bad in general but you really need to listen to other SF tunes other than the Yoko ones.

@@mr.monkey354 To you, it's the most repetitive thing ever but for most folks, Alpha 3's music is great. Ain't the best but you can't tell me it's "generic" when you've likely lack taste for this type of music especially when Capcom actually HAS gone back to Alpha 3 music if you listen closely. Putting aside that Alpha 3 music is available for SF6's jukebox mode, characters like Birdie and Karin have moments of their SFV themes that are callbacks to their Alpha 3 music.
Seems to me, you're just not a fan of Alpha 3's music and you're using your opinions and assumptions as fact. At least the Internet in these comment sections easily contradict your BS. Peace. LOL

Dude was always gonna die. It's funny seeing fans expect Charlie to come back for reals when his death is part of his and Guile's character. Seriously, almost every game he's in has him die somehow. Some exceptions like Alpha 3 and MvC2 but still.
